Humans were designed to be emotional people, even being able to shed tears.
There is no evidence of that from the Bible. There were no tears shed in the Garden.
There is no evidence they smiled or laughed either.
It wasn't until after the fall that humans began to experience pain.
By your logic then they couldn't smile or laugh until after the fall. What were A&E then? Rocks? So something must be wrong with the logic.
If God experiences emotional pain and sheds tears, then he too must have experienced some fall from his original state.
Or His original state includes the ability to feel emotional pain.
Psalm 94:9 says, "The One who made the ear, can he not hear? The One who formed the eye, can he not see? The One correcting the nations, can he not reprove? He is the One who imparts knowledge to people! Jehovah knows the thoughts of men."
If God knows the thoughts of men, including emotional pain, can He not understand emotional pain Himself? If He can't then must He also be blind and deaf since He doesn't have human eyes and ears?
