Upright in all that he does, Yahweh acts only in faithful love. He is close to all who call upon him, all who call on him from the heart.

John 14.6
Jesus said: I am the Way; I am Truth and Life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

For debate: How can one reconcile these two seemingly contradictory verses. And if they cannot be reconciled, which one do you support as more authentic, more a reflection of the will of God, and why?
My theological positions:
-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.
I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.
Elijah John wrote:
Allow me to turn it this way. If one does not accept the theology of "Jesus and the ransom he provides" does one still have access to God?
That would depend on what one means by "access to God" ....
If you mean "Does God listen to the prayers of those who do not at the time of praying accept the ransom" then the answer is yes, that is possible.
If you mean "Will anyone that does not accept the ransom survive the coming destruction of the wicked at Armageddon?" Then yes, I believe that too is possible.
If you mean "Will anyone living in paradise, who continues to reject the ransom after being adequately instructed , have everlasting life under Christ's rule?" then no, absolutely not!
