Post #1Why Catholic Church say that The mystery of the Holy Trinity not impossibility to unravel. But I read one newspaper and found one internetsite where one man spoke that God is a Thought. Holy Spirit is Thinking. Christ is a Word or Action. Christ is a ultimate goal of contempliation of a thought. I think that is true.

Regarding that verse, you wrote:

Actually, I'm simply repeating what the Bible says.InTheFlesh wrote:You keep telling me that flesh and blood

Yes, that was your comical interpretation of Luke 24:39 that Jesus was resurrected with "flesh and bone" and no blood.InTheFlesh wrote:But i keep telling you that flesh and blood

All nonbelievers will be resurrected exactly like Jesus from their graves. Are they "born again" also?InTheFlesh wrote:How else would he come back from death

myth wrote:But you challenge them based on what you have been taught. And even that changes periodically. You still can’t decide if Jesus was resurrected as a man, or born again as a spirit from His tomb! Presently, you have Him being born again from His tomb as an unnatural man. Is that correct? If correct, is that your final answer?
Are you honestly "testifying" that you have not repeated changed course on whether Jesus was resurrected as a natural body or a spiritual body? I believe your final statement was that He was resurrected as an unnatural body.InTHeFlesh wrote:I challenge you to provide proof

I never claimed that Jesus rose with a natural body.
If you disagree, post the evidence.

Now what? Once all are resurrected -- our "get out of hell free" card is gone. But we will still are left with freedom of choice, the wages of sin will still be death, and we will sin again.
We will have only succeeded in cycling back to where we began -- only short of a Savior, unless another one volunteers.
Then what?

I would normally counter by saying there is one, and only one, true death -- the last, or second death in this case. But I've mentioned that before so let's hold that in reserve this time.Ankh wrote:Not so Myth! Jesus the Christ sacrificed his life to save all from the death and condemnation that passed unto all mankind as a result of father Adam's transgression.

But all mankind will be resurrected:InTheFlesh wrote:At the resurrection,
Jesus was born again.
After you are born again,
you don't die anymore.
This includes believers and non-believers.For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. (I Corinthians 15:22-23)
Jesus set the example, by being the first to be resurrected.
Now you claim that being resurrected means being born again never to die anymore.
Thus all mankind will be born again never to die anymore.
So what does it profit one to become a believer?

Was Jesus an unbeliever?
The unbeliever is born again to everlasting punishment
and the believer is born again to life eternal.

Jesus lived a sinless life, and neither needed nor desired a Savior from the wages of sin! Believer or unbeliever does not apply to Him.InTheFlesh wrote:I was referring to the resurrection of the believer.

The unbelievers are not resurrected only to be killed again! That's totally illogical.
If that was the case, why not simply let them remain dead?
They are resurrected so they can hear the good news of the Gospel and make their choice of whether to accept or reject Jesus as their Savior.

Now in regards to your response...
Myth, it’s really not that controversial as you make it out to be. Heck, even you admit that the unbelievers are not resurrected only to be killed again, but are given an opportunity to come to faith in Christ… right?
Allow me once again to emphasis… the “ransom for all as Paul states in 1 Timothy 2:6 guarantees that all will be “made alive" ~ possess life ~ just as Adam possessed in the beginning. (1 Cor. 15:22). But, just as Adam's everlasting life was conditional, so will everlasting life for the restored man in the age to come be conditional, for do we not read in Acts 3:23 this...
"And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet (speaking of Jesus) shall be destroyed from among the people"
Given as a gift, everlasting life will not be forced into a never-ending existence upon any, nor will it be a reward given as a result of works. It does however release the sinner from the first condemnation and its results (DEATH), both direct and indirect, and justifies him to life ~ counts him/her as alive. (Romans 3:23-24, 5:18,21. But once received, however, any completely willful disobedience will still bring death... that penalty will be the "second death," from which there will be no ransom, no release, because there will be no purpose served for another ransom or a further trial.
Understand, all will have fully seen and tasted both good and evil. All will have witnessed and experienced the goodness and love of God. All will have had a full, fair, individual trial for life, under most favorable conditions. More could not be asked, and more will not be given. That trial (judgment) will decide forever who will be righteous and incorruptible.
"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still." (Revelation 22:11)
You ask, "Now what?' And I say... rejoice, rejoice in the fact that God through Christ has reconciled the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them (2 Cor. 5:19), and has sent His Son to be the Saviour of the world (1 John 4:14), this is the "good tidings" of great joy, which shall be to all people. (Luke 2:10-11)
Good evening, and may the New Year bring you much blessings.
Ankh

Post #490Myth-one wrote:Jesus forfeited His life to save us from the second death.
You claim that Jesus saved all humanity from their first death -- because all will be resurrected.Ankh wrote:Not so Myth!
I pointed out that after that resurrection, mankind is back where we began. That is, we are human, we still have freedom of choice, the wages of sin is still death, and there is no reason to believe that all of us will not eventually sin again. When and if that occurs, you agree that we will suffer the second, final and eternal, death -- never to live again.
Right. What has that to do with this current discussion?Ankh wrote:Heck, even you admit that the unbelievers are not resurrected only to be killed again, but are given an opportunity to come to faith in Christ… right?
Under that scenario, do you really believe that any of mankind will not have sinned and suffered the second death – in only a few years?Ankh wrote:Given as a gift, everlasting life will not be forced into a never-ending existence upon any, nor will it be a reward given as a result of works. Let’s say a million years have passed since all humans have been resurrected from their first “death. Do you believe any of us can live a million years after the resurrection without sinning?
Let’s say after a billion years, any of us still haven’t sinned?Ankh wrote:Understand, all will have fully seen and tasted both good and evil. Satan must have been considered righteous and holy at some time, since He was given power over the earth with angels under his control. Yet, He sinned. Why will we be any different?"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still." (Revelation 22:11)
The “few of mankind who enter the Kingdom of God will be less likely to sin because of their experiences and training during their first short human life. They tried it their way and failed. Now they agree that God’s way is the best way.Ankh wrote:You ask, "Now what?' And I say... rejoice, rejoice in the fact that God through Christ has reconciled the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them (2 Cor. 5:19), and has sent His Son to be the Saviour of the world (1 John 4:14), this is the "good tidings" of great joy, which shall be to all people. (Luke 2:10-11)
Nonetheless, sin is still possible! And given eternity, we will sin again!
Then, under your scenario, that’s the final curtain for each of us – the second death. Over time, all will perish!
Same to you and yours, Ankh!!Ankh wrote:Good evening, and may the New Year bring you much blessings.
