Below is a 20 minute video. For the ones who opt not to watch, I'll start with the following question? (Which may then lead to many others, as this is a fairly new concept of thought for me)....
Why does YHWH allow for so much animal suffering? Before you Christians answer, I trust you are already aware of this guy's counter points?

Christianity's Biggest Problem Yet?
Post #1In case anyone is wondering... The avatar quote states the following:
"I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness."

Post #421So this animal will better know tricks in heaven?AquinasForGod wrote: ↑Fri Jan 13, 2023 7:55 pm [Replying to POI in post #419]If an animal doesn't know tricks, then learns tricks, he has grown to know tricks, yes? Thus he grew in knowledge.Learn tricks, yes. But stretching it out to 'grow'. You seem to be reaching; quite a bit.... How are they 'growing' exactly? And for what exactly?

Post #423Continuing to follow along your rationale. Animals prepare, by learning tricks, so they will be ready for the afterlife, with humans.

Post #424No. I gave a clear example of how in one way animals learn and grow. So they could learn and grow in other ways also, such as growing into a being that is peaceful and never violent, so that they are worthy of the new world.

Post #425brunumb wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 5:13 pmThis highlights some more absurdities. Why was Satan allowed free rein to seduce God's beloved children in his own garden? The consequences have been enormous and totally preventable. After Satan brought about the fall, the serpent was punished, but Satan got to go on wreaking havoc. This is madness. It's like catching a serial rapist, punishing the victim, then allowing the rapist to continue his spree with the promise that he well get his punishment one day. No sane person would be expected to do that let alone an omnibenevolent deity.
Satan was an angel, he obeyed, But then got jealous and wanted worship, he rebelled and lied to Eve to get them to rebel, 1/3 of the angels fell later.

Post #426I was referring to the animals on earth when mortals were here, until after the flood they all ate vegetation.POI wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 11:39 pmDo you deny paleontology? Dinosaurs ate other dinosaurs, and went extinct well before humans came onto the scene. (http://www.nature.com/articles/news030331-7). So your faith based assertion, that all species were veges, prior to the fall, is wrong.

Post #428So the dinosaurs ate each other then? Why would they do this before the fall?kjw47 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 13, 2023 8:38 pmI was referring to the animals on earth when mortals were here, until after the flood they all ate vegetation.POI wrote: ↑Wed Jan 11, 2023 11:39 pmDo you deny paleontology? Re: Christianity's Biggest Problem Yet?
Post #430Not all doctrines are stated directly in the bible, such as limbo. Some are deduced from other things said in the bible, such as animals will be in the world to come and they will be peaceful and not violent, from Isaiah and I believe Jeremiah also.POI wrote: ↑Fri Jan 13, 2023 9:23 pmIs this what the Bible says, or are you just imagining stuff again?AquinasForGod wrote: ↑Fri Jan 13, 2023 8:25 pmNo. I gave a clear example of how in one way animals learn and grow.
