One thing I admire about atheists like yourself is that you guys usually have a skeptical spirit of not wanting to be duped. I kinda don't blame you but when you only approach to the matters discussed on this forum is all about science, that shows an unreasonably restrictive approach. Although, those like you don't claim to adhere to scientism, but it always tend to creep into your views, like when you make unreasonable demands relating to historical matters just as liamConnor has exposed time and time again.

Scientism is an unreasonable trust in science. Science trumps what ancient people believed and wrote down. How is that unreasonable?

And how would you explain those that are not caused by the factors above?

1) I do not pretend to be able to explain or know everything.

2) Would anyone think "If Zzyzx can't explain it nobody can and gods must have done it."

3) How could anyone know if someone's psychological event was NOT caused by drink, drugs, delusions, hallucinations, etc?
