Hi,

I'm a Christian, believe in Sola Scriptura. I love science. I was a devout Atheist until I pondered the absurdity of abiogenesis and MACRO-evolution. I own my own small software consulting firm for the toll road industry.

I love motorcycles, and currently have 2, a 2003 Triumph Sprint ST, and a 2009 Honda CBR600RR ABS.

I have been married 16 years to my wonderful bride. Our (adopted) son is currently deployed in Iraq.

I have a YouTube page with 25 subscribers! Woot, I'm surprised to have 1.

That's it for now.

I would like to get a motorcycle. they seem like they would be at times extremely convenient as compared to big clunky cars, further, they are far cheaper, and get far better mileage.

What is your page about? care to link it? I sometime frequent youtube for the free music, so I bothered to get an account. I don't have a page though that I do anything with.

Youtube has virtually no moderation. people get into cursing arguments over which singer is better.

If DC&R were a classroom for level of moderation, youtube would be a bar.
I mostly visit that site when comments are made regarding Monty Python skits and need a laugh.
Argument clinic. one of my favorites.

The ministry of silly walks is good as well.

About motorcycles, I recommend an MSF course to see if you like motorcycles and also teach you how to survive owning a motorcycle. Please resist the urge to get the biggest, fastest motorcycle you can afford.

will look into that.

Aye, I've no desire to get a pointlessly big, fast, and noisy one. I somehow manage to avoid having any inclination toward macho-ness despite being 21. I'm very much into practicality.

Welcome.

I have read some of your posts already.

You actually expected Youtube posters to be civil?

I will check your videos out and try to be civil. No promises because it is youtube after all.

Hi Intrepidman and welcome to the forum. :D

As you know you and I have already interacted, but I did want to pop in here and welcome you officially.

I have to admit, I love motorcycles, and years ago used to pillion regularly on a SUZUKI-1100T - more a touring model, top box, panniers (sp) etc.. and a beautiful bike. I guess I understand your love of them. The owner of that bike now has a HD Panhead... do't ask me the series model #! lol I just know it is coffee and cream and it is his prized possession, and she certainly is mighty "perdy".

As to other stuff, we may well agree to disagree, but hey, that is what debate is all about. ;)

Congrats on your marriage and love and compassion to your son. Where is he stationed in Iraq?

Welcome Intrepidman. Looks like you've been active in the forums lately. :)

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

Oh, Hi! I missed this. I am blessed to have 2 motorcycles at this moment. A Triumph Sprint ST, and my new baby, a 2009 Honda CBR600RR ABS. I try to get my wife to pillion, but she won't have anything to do with it. :(

I don't know where my son is right now. We don't talk much. That's getting better now. I do know he's special forces and just got promoted to Sargent.
