I believe "General Chat" is the correct place for this thread.

Everybody can list their favorite current bands, or all time faves, then others can judge you as a person based on who you put.

*Congratulates Mike on his excellent musical taste*. Have you got their first album, Funeral? It is also brilliant.

Edit: Oh! I have just followed your link, and seeing as the song playing is Rebellion (Lies) I guess you must know the stuff off Funeral. :D
-Radiohead: In Rainbows
Recently downloaded this one. I haven't listened to it yet, but The Bends and OK Computer were played to death.

Others on my list:

-The Divine Comedy
- Kate Bush
- Air
-The Magnetic Fields
- Sigur Ros
- Outkast
- Bjork
- Echo and the Bunnymen
- Pink Floyd
- The Smiths
- Eels
- Kirsty MacColl

And so on.
Poor Kirsty MacCol. I found her passing away a tragedy... I always enjoyed her music.
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

Other than Lenya, Ute is my favourite Weill Sängerin. Patricia O'Callaghan is new to me -- shame the recording of her voice is so poor in that clip. Thanks for the tip though!

Mr. Jones is my son. So I might show some favoritism.
I still like his music.
It is his stage name in case the music thing didn't work out.
So far He seems t have a good following in this part of the USA.
Myspace does have some great music.

:D :D (have you heard of Neil Hannon/ Jacques Brel? Check out the collaboration between them - song called Les Jours Tristes. You may like it. It's available on iTunes if you have access - the second entry down. Also, The Divine Comedy have done a version of No One Knows by Queens of the Stone Age in the style of Kurt Weill - also available on iTunes - just checked.)
