For those who don't follow this subject; congress has recently been occupied taking seriously and assessing claims from whistle blowers and experts in this field that there has been a government cover up of visitation by vehicles and pilots from other worlds, some of which have been brought down by electromagnetic pulse weapons, and hidden and stored from the public from the time of the first atomic bombs, and beginning with the first atomic storage site at Roswell. A black government controlling all that is top secret behind the democratic temporary and visible government with president and political parties. This is one issue.

The other is; if multiple extra terrestrial civilizations do exist, hundreds of thousands or millions of years in advancement of ours, and are and have been monitoring earth and its occupants, how does this throw the Bibles accounts of creation out of the window?

Could an eternal God have waited from eternity past, just to put man on this planet 6000 years ago? Or is all of the above true, and are we at an age when there is about to be some outrageous evidence presented of life all over the universe to shock conventional theological belief?

I don't believe what governments say, unless there is some really good proof for their claims. But, I can believe they hide many things. And if there would be pilots from other worlds, they probably would hide the information. However, do you think a greatly more advanced civilization would just fly around in our atmosphere like drunken sailors and get caught by evil governments?

I think Bible calls those "extra terrestrials" angels or fallen angels. In my opinion they would not be a problem. But, the idea of millions of years is interesting, would be difficult to prove correct.

I'm with 1234 on this, if the government told me the sky is blue I'd demand a second opinion.

- black op's
- advances technology
- non human super intelligent lifeforms that have existed millions if not billions of years before humans that interact with our planet and at times make themselves manifest (we call them angels or demons)

NASA is the government agency whose mission is to study space. If NASA isn't buying into this, that should tell us a lot. Life beyond this planet is such an intriguing possibility that it shouldn't be ignored but, as NASA itself has said, the prospect should be approached with more science and less stigma and sensationalism.

This is definitely a topic that interests me. For a long time there has been a stigma of reporting unidentified flying objects (UFOs). People have been culturally indoctrinated to associate this with little green men or various other alien beings coming here and 'doing stuff'.

People are constantly forgetting to just read the words "Unidentified Flying Object". It's an object. It's flying. We don't know what it is, thus it's unidentified.

That's it.

The acronym has so much stigma they came up with a new one that means exactly the same thing. UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon).

With all our technological advances, it's becoming harder and harder to ignore these UFO/UAP sightings. We have hard data that something is flying around in our airspace and often we can't identify it. At a basic level this is simply dangerous for all the aircraft we have in the sky. Security wise, this is very uncomfortable for governments when they have something flying around they can't identify.

Whether it's something from somewhere else than Earth or it's just an advanced platform from another country, nobody wants unidentified stuff zooming around in our airspace.

From a simply logical perspective, we know that the universe is vast and we are likely not the only living thing in it. Has some species somewhere figured out how to travel (or at least send hardware) across these vast distances and that's what we are seeing? We don't know. We can't, and shouldn't, rule it out.

However, until we know what an object is, it's unidentified and that's that. No need to stigmatize sightings of stuff we can't figure out. Let's apply some hard science and trying to get to the bottom of all these sightings - especially the ones that are being captured by advanced tech platforms.

I don't think it does since Adam wasn't the first human anyway. There were people around other than those in the Garden of Eden, and that's how Cain could go to the land of Nod and find a wife when he was kicked out.

Christian theology makes no claims about the existence of extraterrestrial life. It may exist. It might not. A definitive answer would certainly require some theological processing, but Christianity can handle both results.

The vast majority of Christians do not believe that the first chapter of Genesis is literal. The belief that this chapter is not literal has been the dominant view among Christians since at least the 4th century AD.

Conventional theological belief will be fine either way.

This would have a much more disastrous effect on physicists. If extraterrestrials were able to travel to this planet it would disrupt Einstein’s theories, throw modern physicists into chaos, and disprove math itself.
