Paradise on Earth

When I learned that the Bible speaks of a restored Garden of Eden and the restoration of mankind to the perfection and endless life that Adam forfeited, I was thrilled. Who doesn't want to keep living on this beautiful earth, with our loved ones, and being able to do all the things we love to do---endlessly?

If God said to you today, "When do you want to die?" would you say "now!!"? I don't think very many people would say that.

We CAN live forever here on Earth. The Bible tells us that we can.

What is all the commotion about? The "earth" can apply to the inhabitants thereof, as can be clearly seen from Genesis 11:1: "Now the earth continued to be of one language and of one set of words." The land itself did not have a language, of course, it was the people on the land. Therefore, "earth" can mean those living on the earth.

It is very difficult to understand but some people can quote from dictionaries or Lexicons but cannot actually understand the information being conveyed.

The word "earth" can apply to the inhabitants thereof. But without grasping the concept of metonym : the concept of one word actually meaning something else (saying earth but meaning people) the person only LOOKS like they understand.

You and I might ASSUME Capbook agrees that in some scriptures the word EARTH its not speaking about the earth...but if you look over his posts he never actually says this in his own words. He only quotes ... copying and copying.

I am seeking to see if he can explain what he copy-pastes since it is impossible to understand scripture without grasping this notion.

But what does "inhabitannt of the land" mean? The earth doesn't have vocal chords so who or what does "inhabitannt of the land" refer to ...insects? Elephants? Bacteria?

You may define or interpret Bible words of your own like "human society" which nowhere in the Bible or lexicons.
That would be called a man's interpretation, not Bible verse by Bible verse interpretation.

The 3 words "Yes, including animals" are not in the bible and I didnt read "Yes, including animals" in your lexicon, those are your own words from your own post. Can you explain in your own words what you just wrote. It seems to indicate to me that you believe there are metonyms in the bible, is that correct?

So, what do you think of saying my own words I colored blue above?
I copy Bible and lexicon words and not add my own.
We might be guilty of defining Bible words in our own (man's) interpretation of earth.
