"Take my word for it, or his, or this book"

Most of us probably know better than to believe everything said or written. If someone tells us they can fly by flapping their arms, our response is likely disbelief and a request that they ‘show me’. If they refuse to demonstrate or fail in flapping, we regard their claim as false. Agreed?

If a person claims to have come back to life after being dead for days none of us are likely to believe the claim unless it could be verified. Right?

If someone writes that fifty years ago a long-dead person came back to life and flew away into the sky, what would be your / our likely reaction? Would we be convinced if they say ‘many saw him’?

What would it take to convince us that the tale was true?
.
Non-Theist

ANY of the thousands of "gods" proposed, imagined, worshiped, loved, feared, and/or fought over by humans MAY exist -- awaiting verifiable evidence

Hwhat does that even mean? You say this often to anyone that presents valid counterarguments but you never explain what you mean .... please explain what you mean by that expression. "you have heard nothing from God" and what would that change vis-a-vis the point above?
Take it literally
Literally: So when you say "head from God" you mean having a literal paranormal experience of hearing an audible voice from the spirit realm. Please confirm "yes" or "no". (if "no" can you please explain what you mean by "heard from God")

So are you admitting (this is not a quotation, the following words are me trying to understand the words you just wrote) are you admitting that when you write "thus saith the Lord..." and refer to what you heard, your written quotation of the words cannot inform anyone what is true and what is not true ?

YOUR so called message from your so-called "Lord" which you write and I read on the internet "have no authority at all to what is true and what is not" ...in short my understanding is that you are not claiming the messages that you write are TRUE, you are only claiming that that is what you remember from 20 years ago from a spirit voice.

I love the messages from the Lord, Moses message from the Lord is that the Lords name is YHWH (Yahweh/ English Jehovah). YOUR so called message from your so-called "Lord" which you write and I read on the internet "have no authority at all to what is true and what is not" ...in short my understanding is that you are not claiming the message that you write is TRUE or FALSE.
Your issue, per se, is 'authority': hence, no one and nothing has the authority to say what is true and what is not, except the Lord Jesus.

I'm not asking about Moses, I'm asking what you mean when YOU say "you have not heard from God" what are you saying "that the person has not heard an audible voice from the spirit word"?

My question is not about who has the right to "say" as in determine or pronounce something true (I am not asking about definitive judgement and assessment of TRUTH)... my question is about true statements that reflect realities.

What the Lord Jesus says is ALWAYS true (the statements are accurate and absolutely true when they come from the mouth of Jesus). Would you agree on that?
Thus an accurate written record of what the Lord Jesus said is by definition a written record of what is TRUE. (Again I am not speaking about determining truth (assessing or establishing what is true or what is not true) I am talking about what is or is not a TRUE STATEMENT that reflects reality. By reading what the Lord Jesus said we are reading statements that are true.
What Almighty God says is always true. When he Himself wrote His commands they were written statements that were absolutely true. God did not choose to write everything himself but he commanded Moses (and the Prophets) to write down what he wants people to know, so by definition what he directed (not just "permitted" or "allowed", after all God "permits" or "allows" all kinds of nonsense to be written about him...),no, I am talking about what God DIRECTED/INSTRUCTED / GUIDED and in some cases, DICTATED must by definition be true statements. Correct?

The above question is not about Moses, I am asking for clarification for what YOU mean when you say "you have heard nothing from God"... Do you mean "You have not heard a audible voice from the spirit world"? Do you mean "you have not seen God Almighty in the flesh and heard him speak ? What do you mean by your statement "you have heard nothing from God"?

But is that true? Is the above a true statement of fact? If so, how do you know that it is a true statement? ie. How do you know that Moses heard from God on Mount Sinai?

The fact that you can't post anything that you heard from God proves you ain't heard anything from God, so far.
