Middle School Girls Forced Into Lesbian Kiss
Post #1"We are fooling ourselves if we imagine that we can ever make the authentic Gospel popular......it is too simple in an age of rationalism; too narrow in an age of pluralism; too humiliating in an age of self-confidence; too demanding in an age of permissiveness; and too unpatriotic in an age of blind nationalism." Re: Middle School Girls Forced Into Lesbian Kiss
Post #2Role playing is a legitimate teaching tool. Does the article claim that anyone was forced into an actual lesbian kiss, or is the role playing limited to pretending to be on a same sex date, asking for a kiss? If they did, they crossed the line. Eighth grade students should not be asked to actually kiss by their teachers.East of Eden wrote: http://www.christianpost.com/news/paren ... ool-94523/

From the OP:
This "opposer to school prayer" does not support the distorting of an article to further one's own ideological agenda.East of Eden wrote: Middle school girls forced into lesbian kissAnybody opposed to school prayer here support this? What the article actually says wrote: ...during the session where they were instructed to ask each other for kisses.

Re: Middle School Girls Forced Into Lesbian Kiss
Post #4They were asked to do so, and to pretend they were gay. How about if we role-play a Christian worship service, and ask kids to pretend they are Christians, is that OK? How about we drop the gay-agenda brainwashing and get back to real education, something our students are woefully deficient in?McCulloch wrote:Role playing is a legitimate teaching tool. I was not there. I take it that you were, because the report that you linked to said nothing about actual kisses being done. I'll bet that there are Sunday School children who have pretended to be worshipers of the golden calf or persecutors of Jesus in the Passion play. Is that evil too?

Post #9Never said there were, the kids had too much sense to comply. Hopefully they don't get an F for that.McCulloch wrote:East of Eden wrote:They were asked to do so, and to pretend they were gay. Do you really not see the difference between public schools and what Christians do in church?I'll bet that there are Sunday School children who have pretended to be worshipers of the golden calf or persecutors of Jesus in the Passion play. Is that evil too?

Oh come on, EoE. The article described the girls following a script. You described a "forced lesbian kiss". I think "distortion" is a pretty mild term.East of Eden wrote: No you didn't. I'll ask again, where did I distort the article?.
FTR, I agree that parents should have been allowed to opt their kids out.
