This thread is a continuation of an off topic conversation from here.
First, I think that we all agree that it's important to promote understanding, respect, and equality for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation. Everyone should be treated with dignity and allowed to express their identity without fear of discrimination or harm.
Question for debate is LGTBQIA2S+ a harmless social contagion, or are there serious unintended consequences awaiting the individuals and societies that are going down this road?
What's wrong with being gay?

Re: What's wrong with being gay?
Instead you seem to want to insist that people outside your religion should be made to obey all his laws. That shows all readers how dangerous it can be if a religion takes over a whole community.
I asked you a question! Not true. And yes, it was very weak on your part to suggest that. Posts to this thread -- which wasn't personally started -- are supposed to remain on topic, aren't they? If you would like to discuss another matter, other than homosexuality and what is very obviously wrong with being a homosexual, then please feel free to start another thread.
Sin meant 'failure', and God explained that clearly when he told the Israelites that they must keep his laws so the 'The land speweth them not out' ......if you need me to show you that then please just ask. He also explained how previous occupants of the land had failed because they didn't keep his laws.Regardless of whether we look at Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic, SIN = CRIME, i.e. breaking The Law. That's exactly how it is defined throughout the Old Covenant/Testament, New Covenant/Testament and which is confirmed in the Koran/Quran, which are NOT religious books. At least not in the sense that word ("religion") is used today.
Again.........you don't keep all the Mosaic Laws! No, I'm not a member of any of the sects of "Islam", nor any other organized religion (all of which is condemned throughout the Old Covenant/Testament, New Covenant/Testament and the Koran/Quran, nor reside in an Islamic country. If they recognize that homosexuality is a capital crime, then good for them for following God's Law, found ONLY in The Torah (the first five books of the Bible). As someone who sees the pure logic, love and wisdom in God's Perfect Law of Liberty, it only stands to reason to share it with others, as it applies to this particular thread topic, since most have been programmed to see everything upside down and backwards.
Why not?

Re: What's wrong with being gay?
Ad hominem is a Latin term for arguments that attack the person making a claim rather than the claim itself.
Example:
Someone could foolishly argue that Jesus was "discredited" by the Jewish leaders (the Sanhedrin) who successfully manipulated the Roman government into crucifying an innocent man, to avoid discussing the veracity of His Teachings, or to put them into practice to see how they work.
It is the fate of virtually every single whistleblower to be labeled by the establishment as a nut-job -- and to use the government propaganda organ, better known as the mainstream media, to vilify the whistleblower -- than to address the actual claim being made for everyone's benefit.
It should be self-evident that the EASIEST (and most intellectually dishonest) way to mask evil deeds is to shoot the messenger delivering them.

Post #419It would seem that Willner, who died in 1995, was a bit overzealous in his own attack on Dr. Robert Gallo:A Freeman wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 1:57 pmIt is the fate of virtually every single whistleblower to be labeled by the establishment as a nut-job -- and to use the government propaganda organ, better known as the mainstream media, to vilify the whistleblower -- than to address the actual claim being made for everyone's benefit.

"Though best known for his co-discovery of HIV, Dr. Gallo and his team pioneered the development of the HIV blood test, which enabled health care workers for the first time to screen for the AIDS virus - leading to a more rapid diagnosis while simultaneously protecting patients receiving blood transfusions. His research also helped physicians develop HIV therapies to prolong the lives of those infected with the virus. In 1996, his discovery that a natural compound known as chemokines can block HIV and halt the progression of AIDS was hailed by Science magazine as one of that year's most important scientific breakthroughs. This also helped others identify CCR5 as the HIV co-receptor since these chemokines were known to bind to CCR5."

Post #420[Replying to A Freeman in post #415]
a logical fallacy in which one argues that one action will lead to a chain of negative events
Slippery Slope:And that includes the making up of unlawful legislation to not only allow but promotes filthy and abominable homosexuality, which has taken the lid completely off of Pandora's box for the rest of the sexual deviants, INCLUDING PAEDOPHILES.
