Moses was a murder-er multiple times.,.,.,
By,.,.,.,.,.,. no longer believing this—
Exo 12:21 KJV) Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
When later, Moses gives us the Ten Commandments.,./\.,./\.,. /\.,./\.,./\.,./\.,./\.,./\.,./\.,./\
Out of the “Ten Commandment’s; which do you believe they truly follow today-?
Ten Commandments
1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
5. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
6. Thou shalt not kill. (murder)
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou shalt not steal.
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
7/10’s (70%) of the Ten commandments have been put into public “law in every recognized country member in the United Nations.
Can you guess which one’s (?????)
.,.,,.Ok I don't want to task you~~

You are overlooking the fact that many vegans are still alive.brianbbs67 wrote:
If we can't kill we can't eat.
You have also revealed the weakness of attempting to use logic to support the bible.

Seriously?
Yeah because all they had to do is head down to their local Hebrew Kroger and to keep their vegetables from spoiling put in their refrigerators to support their vegan diet.
People that think today's living would be possible during the time of Moses, I find funny. Which BTW the Bible says they wandered the wilderness for 40 years. This means they didn't stay in the same place, thus no crop growing. A vegan lifestyle wouldn't have been possible. The Bible says that food was so scarce that Jehovah had to provide mana to supplement their diets. Sheep and goats would have been extremely important. Not just for eating but for milk and clothing. Living with the Hebrews in the wilderness would be a vegan's nightmare. It wouldn't be a nightmare for long though, as they would have died from exposure due to refusing to wear clothes made from sheep's wool.

Re: Moses was a murder-er multiple times.,.,.,
Post #5It meant do not kill anyone or anything that was not approved by Jehovah to be killed. We are not to take to killing whomever we want for whatever reason we want. And yes, this can be applied to animals too. Such as hunting something to extinction or killing an animal in a cruel way just for sport or for the fun of the violence. “Jehovah himself examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one, and anyone loving violence His soul certainly hates. (Psalm 11:5)
Short definition: Murder is an unlawful taking of life according to God's laws and not mankind's or personal laws.
Animals were allowed to be killed and eaten. God gave that OK way back in Noah's day. (Gen 9:3) The sacrifice of animals was approved way way before that. (Gen 4:4)

Check history at the Tel Aviv University web site. The Hebrews were never in Egypt, there was no Exodus, and the foundational epic (Chap 1 -7 of the Bible) were written in 800-600 BC.

What do vegans today have to with Moses thousands of years ago?Tcg wrote:Yes, there are many vegans living in the world today.2timothy316 wrote:This made me smile pretty big.Tcg wrote:

Even when eating a plant, that's killing the plant. I think you assumed that brianbbs67 was talking about animals, but he didn't specify animals.

He is the one who made the present tense argument that I addressed.
Now let's get back to my question. Does the fact that there are vegans living in the world today surprise you?

Of course there are Vegans, plants must die for them to eat also. I meant it both ways. My real question to the OP is How is Moses a murderer, multiple times?
