I find it quite common of sense to mock religious beliefs with the strainer deal there, and assume the fox hat has some spiritual "common sense" to that'n a-wearin' it.

I reject any notion there's a lack of "common sense" in the above cited examples.

I agree that Christians started the whole religious freedom thing and it go out of hand. Why can't we treat everyone equal? Christians want laws so that they can discriminate based on there beliefs so why can't everyone discriminate based on their beliefs?

Should non religious be able to discriminate against renting to a religious person just because of their beliefs that religious people are immoral?

As long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of another, any action deemed religious by that person should be allowed. It's not hurting anyone if someone wears spaghetti or a fox hat on their head for their license picture. They look moronic in my opinion, but it's their right to be morons...

the problem is people have different views. Christians aren't trying to discriminate, but they believe things such as homosexuality to be wrong, and atheists and others argue that it's right. But BOTH are "discriminating" so to speak to the others view. Religious freedom and other freedoms are good, but there comes a point where they don't work out perfectly.

In the end the courts decide at what point religious freedom encroaches on national security. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses I know that is a very difficult line to draw and we have often found ourselve accused of crossing into the latter.
