Repellent Republicans

This is the sort of vile and repugnant overt racism and hatred that Donald Trump's election victory seems to have caused many of his supporters to decide that they now have a green light to say openly. Apparently this is what they have been thinking all along. We may now have to wait another four years before the roaches are forced to scurry back under the refrigerator.

WASHINGTON (CNN) - A New York Republican who served as Donald Trump's campaign co-chair in the state is under fire for saying he hopes President Barack Obama will die of Mad Cow disease and making racist comments about first lady Michelle Obama.

Carl Paladino, an ally of Trump who recently visited Trump Tower, told a weekly paper in Buffalo that Michelle Obama was the person whom he would "most like to see go in 2017."

"I'd like her to return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortably in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla," Paladino said.

Of Barack Obama, Paladino said in response to the question of what he would most like to see happen next year, "Obama catches mad cow disease after being caught having relations with a Herford. He dies before his trial and is buried in a cow pasture next to Valerie Jarret, who died weeks prior, after being convicted of sedition and treason, when a Jihady cell mate mistook her for being a nice person and decapitated her."

Long a provocative figure in New York politics, Paladino was a co-chair of Trump's statewide campaign and spoke before him at some rallies in the state.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who crushed Paladino in the governor's race in 2010, called the comments "racist, ugly and reprehensible."

Though Trump ran on the Republican ticket, he is hardly anything that is representative of the GOP base (except for knowing nothing). He's not conservative; he's not religious; he's only for Donald Trump (ask not what I can do for the world, but ask what can the world do for me). He is God and the Republican base has anointed him (I guess because their other God is MIA).

The Electoral College didn't work and now we are stuck with an egomaniac (and I'm being nice!). On the surface it appears the next two years will be an easy walk for him to where the cake is. But for all the Republican control, he'll have to navigate among the decent ones and I doubt he'll find that to be easy. His populism is a bubble that this country will soon regurgitate.
What good is truth if its value is not more than unproven, handed-down faith?

One believes things because one is conditioned to believe them. -Aldous Huxley

Fear within the Religious will always be with them ... as long as they are fearful of death.

Trump ran on the Republican ticket and it was largely Republicans that put him in the Oval Office. The bile and hatred that is currently openly flowing through the streets is hardly an expression of liberalism. It is the true face of right wing conservative Republicans, and it is largely a product of the RED states. I agree with you about the national appointment with a hard painful vomit however. I suspect it will happen sooner rather than later.

Here is the latest retort from the rancorous repellent republican right.

http://www.rawstory.com/2016/12/we-dont ... kah-tweet/

President-elect Donald Trump decided to throw a bone to people who care about religious diversity in the United States by wishing Jewish people a “Happy Hanukkah this week — and his neo-Nazi fans are not happy about it.

Shortly after Trump posted an innocuous “Happy Hanukkah tweet on Monday, his feed was clogged with angry white nationalists who were upset that Trump was signaling support for “Satanic Jews.

Other white nationalists predictably brought up conspiracy theories about Jews supporting a “genocide against white people, and begged Trump to reconsider reaching out to them.
