Seems Donald Trump has an ever diminishing pool of potential running mates. He has already personally insulted many of his Republican rivals. He has said things that would draw warnings, probation, suspension then banishment on our site, for personal attacks.
He says "well they attack me first, so I hit them back ten times as hard".
Truth? No they have not attacked him, just his policies and/or ignorance and inexperience. Trump in turn has attacked his opponents personally.
So, who's it gonna be for Trumps running mate, if he wins the nomination?
Now he's even insulting John Kasich. One less potential VP right there...
SO the debate question, who can Trump choose that he has not already insulted?
Trump's running mate...

I don't think so; in fact he doesn't have to choose anyone. Then the party would choose.Do they have to choose another person who was running for the nomination?

He's so HUGE he doesn't need a running mate. If someone tries to take him out, he'll take care of them himself with his bare hands, or at least that will be his story.

Thanks Checkpoint!
I don't know if it matters too much that Trump has insulted many people in his own party. If he wins, there will be people vying for the position of VP. I am sure he'll have people from whom to choose, if he wishes.
Peace!

Yes, huge is the word.
As Ted Cruz found, huh?
It's not always just his story, but history in the making.

Scott Brown
Chris Chistie
Newt Gingrich
Mike Huckabee
Gives new meaning to the phrase "short list for VP".
I would add Ben Carson, but I think Trump insulted him early on...they certainly seemed to have mended their fences.

Trump on the stump is something else! Polarising yet persuasive is the Donald.
He is now in the process of choosing.
Whoever he chooses, those on your list will have a place somewhere in his proposed team.

Condolezza Rice, would also be a great choice. Yes the good Doctor Carson has also been insulted by Donald Trump early on, but now is head of his VP search commitee. He would make a great Surgeon General.Checkpoint wrote:Elijah John wrote:

There is talk too that Trump and Marco Rubio have mended fences. I vowed I would never vote for Donald Trump. But if he chooses the "right" VP, and Hillary continues to pander to the far Left...I may well change my mind. Otherwise my intention is to write-in a better choice than what we have now.

Trump must have someone in mind, because the way he's insulted his fellow GOP's has been so casual. Not that he's actually GOP, more populist, right? He's an idiot, but he's not stupid
Hillary is practically a Republican, at least from the POV of the far left. I don't know how much different she'd be than Obama has been. Who she panders to in her bid for POTUS may not reflect much once she is elected, which I am pretty sure she will be.
At least she's not such an ideologue. I'm not a big fan of her's, but that's not saying much considering how I feel about professional politicians.
When, in this process, do the nominees choose their VP candidates?
