Religion which is any belief that any one individual may have faith in believe in whatever persuation one might testify of to being their belief by faith..
NONE WANT TO DISCUSS it ,, ARGUE ABOUT IT, DEBATE IT, FIGHT OVER IT,

Yet NONE BUT THE CHRISTIAN believers, CONFESSORS, RECIEVERS OF HIS PROMISE, TESTIFIERS of HIS REALITY , TRUTH , AND PRESENCE in OUR LIVES.

JESUS CHRIST, THE MESSIAH, THAT HAS been PROPHECIED to COME, and has, COME IN THE FLESH , SUFFERED, DIED, SHED HIS BLOOD, BEING THE FINAL SACRIFICE ONCE FOR ALL, ARE WILLING nor able TO JUST STAND UP and SAY and TESTIFY TO THE LORD GOD'S TRUTH.. as HE HAS HAD IT WRITTEN FOR US ALL!!!!!! MALACHI 3;16:

DO not be decieved.. WITHOUT "IN THE BEGINNING GOD, CREATED THE HEAVENS, and THE EARTH." BEING WRITTEN BY SOMEONE.. SO MANY YEARS AGO BY MEN that HAD HIS WORD WITHIN THEM TO KNOW WHAT TO WRITE AND RECORD WHAT THEY KNEW WAS TRUTH?????? MEN APPARENTLY MUCH WISER and HAVING MORE WISDOM then any of us who live and breath this day the LORD HATH MADE..

WOULD THE EARTH BE??? THE HEAVENS BE???? WOULD WE EVEN BE ????? PROOF WE HAVE OUR PROOF ALL AROUND US AND WITHIN OUR HEARTS AND OUR MINDS .. IF WE HAVE ANY FAITH IN ANYTHING AT ALL. and any REALITY OF ANY TRUTH AT ALL ...

HAVING ALL TRUTH MAYBE NOT.. BUT LOOK AROUND AND SEE WHAT IS.. TRUE. and THEN CHECK IT OUT with the HOLY BIBLE the BOOK OF BOOKS. THAT the LORD HATH HAD WRITTEN BEFORE HIM!!!!!!!!!!

POLITICS!!! well without GOVERNING OFFICIALS this would be a very caotic LAND, COUNTRY, JUST ONE PIECE OF LAND ON THIS PLANET.CALLED AMERICA, THAT IS BASED ON THE GOD OF US ALL.. WE CALL LORD JESUS THE RISEN CHRIST THAT CAME IN THE FLESH TO SAVE THIS WORLD AND US!!!!!!!! THE GOSPEL( GOOD NEWS ) AND WORLD WE LIVE IN ON THIS PLANET EARTH THAT GOD HAS CREATED. IN THE HEAVEN ABOVE AND ALL AROUND THIS PLANET...

THERE are those that would like nothing better then to take THIS GOD, THIS GOSPEL AWAY FROM ALL OF US HERE IN AMERICA and FROM ALL THOSE THAT KNOW OUR LORDS TRUTH WORD AND REALITY IN OUR LIVES...

BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE. about it GOD IS GOD AND HIS TRUTH will PREVAIL ABOVE ANY ONE THAT would come aginst HIM AND HIS TRUTH AND HIS PEOPLE. maybe many better come to understand WHO GOD'S PEOPLE ARE.

BY EXAMINING the HISTORY THAT IS within the PAGES OF GOD'S BOOK .....WE AS CHRISTIANS CALL the HOLY BIBLE.. IT CONSISTS OF TWO BOOKS,, THAT HAS MANY BOOKS.. THAT THE LAST BOOK REVELATION EVEN IT IS WRITTEN OF AND ABOUT.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and ********another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.********

ONE MAY want to read REVELATION.. 22; NONE KNOW the HOUR OR THE DAY of THE LORD'S RETURN .. DO WE????????

AND GOD has given each one a measure of faith and all one needs is a faith as small as a mustard seed. BUT ALL SEED must have WATER and NOURISHING OF FOOD to GROW right??

This thread does not seem to have a particular question or set of questions for debate. It helps to be specific, so if you could provide a more specific question or set of questions, that would be helpful.

Certainly feel free to express any views you wish, as civily as possible of course. It is fine to advocate for a particular religious viewpoint, but do support your views with evidence. Simply 'proselytizing' of stating your beliefs is not really the purpose of the debate forum.

5. Support your assertions/arguments with evidence. Do not make blanket statements that are not supportable by logic/evidence.


I myself am also a Christian. Ithink you will find a diversity of views even among the believers here.

Welcome to the forum Suzanne. As I think you have already seen on some of the other threads, we have quite a diversity of views here.


I know that there are diversity of beliefs in this forum just as with the whole world views. because THE EARTH is the LORDS and the FULLNESS PSALMS 24 in case you want to read what the LORD GOD HAS had written for you me and all that are willing and able to read HIS WORDS that have been written long before you or I or any of us have been born into this world and on this earth. as I believe that MOSES is given CREDIT for writting the first Five books. but after that I believe it is the Prophets, OF course if none believe any of the first five books I guess they would not believe GENESIS nor any of the books after the first five including the NEW TESTAMENT either nor the book of Revelation either right?? or wrong??

I am open for any proof you have that what I have written here is an UNTRUTH .. if it is then maybe I AM A LIAR AND GODS WORD AS IT HAS been WRITTEN IN GENESIS 1;1: THRU 2; 4: and in MALACHI 3;16: is all a lie also and just MYTH and is not to be believed ... WELL let's see IF you only want people that debate the TRUTH of GOD'S WORD then this forum I guess is not for me. Because I do not debate what God has shown me through His witness of His Spirit as I read and listen to what His word says when I read it.. to me as being a truth.. SUCH AS what HE HAS said and done for us all.. SUCH AS GIVING HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON all HE HAD TO GIVE for YOU AND ME to SUFFER , DIE, BE BURIED, and has RISEN, OR am I also wrong about that HE has not already been to the CROSS??? the BLOOD has not been SHED?? the GOSPEL PREACHED, WRITTEN OF, FULFILLED, AND REVEALED as a TRUTH BY HIS baptism that is also WRITTEN OF prophecied to be GIVEN. is not also a truth ??? GEE that is weird because i happen to know I have had this BAPTISM happen to me and has been given .. JUST AS promised .. SEEMS many besides me have recieved this also and have a witness of this PERSONAL AND REALITY AND RELATIONSHIP with OUR LORD.. just as has been written.. GEE with REAL CHANGED HEARTS and RENEWED WAY OF THINKING ALSO.. and having real changes made in us .. AND ACTUALLY some can be seen by others .,. how strange is that HUH??

PROSELYTIZING??? I had no idea that REPEATING what GOD HAS HAD written FOR ALL that BELIEVE in the LORD and meditate on HIS NAME. was PROSELYTIZING... I have not been converted from one religious belief to another.. I HAVE never DOUBTED GOD IS... MY LORD CREATOR GOD.. HEAVENLY FATHER. GEE maybe you have.. BUT sorry I have not ever doubted that GOD IS MY CREATOR and HAS GIVEN ME this LIFE. OH sure I was born though the womb of a woman I called mother, and I had a daddy that was HER HUSBAND and without both of them I would not be here but without GOD THEY NOR ANY OF US would be here and the earth and the heavens would not be either... SO IF this is not a reality for me and enough proof then WE have no proof huh?? maybe we all are non existent and the earth and heavens are not visable and living things do not exist.. which would mean that TRUTH OF the SACRIFICE THAT HAS been GIVEN ONCE FOR ALL is not a truth and it is all a lie.. BLOOD and FLESH and OUR LIFE is not a reality .. there is no truth at all and GOD HAS LIED???????? BUT I HAVE READ and believe that GOD has not lied to me about anything yet.. I do not have to support my words.. FOR the TRUTH is for anyone that wants to have HIS TRUTH. IT IS ALL IN THE BOOK .. we call the HOLY SCRIPTURES THE BOOK OF BOOKS the O.T N.T. and THE BOOK OF REVELATION. all I do is repeat what HE HAS HAD WRITEN SAID AND DONE not just for me but many many many many BILLIONS and MILLIONS before me or you .. NO it was not posted that I know of It was just saved as a draft. but I cannot find it to delete it. maybe it just deletes itself after a period of time ????????

I am one of the administrators here...although not a particularly knowledgeable computerologist. I've checked the admin options, and don't see anything about deleting things that have been saved as drafts. I imagine that they are saved in a temporary file that is overwritten later--so it will "go away" after a while.

I agree with micatala, though, that a question for debate is needed. I appreciate your view that repeating biblical passages should not be "proseletyzing," but oddly, there are very large numbers of debaters here who do not share that view. To them, it really is proseletyzing. (We are, after all, international.) Perhaps more importantly, to someone like me, who was not raised in a particular faith (and, in fact, knew only one person who went to church), biblical quotes hold no special meaning--so for us, it's entirely unclear what you are actually trying to say. Weird, I know, but that's how it is.

So...if you want to discuss aspects of Christianity, perhaps the Christianity subforum is the place to go. If you want to argue for Christianity relative to other religions, perhaps the Other Religions subforum would do. I rather like this subforum, because it offers a place to focus on the role of religion in politics, and whether it should have had a stronger role in forming various policies, or whether its role was too great. This is always quite fun, because opinions are so varied, and usually strongly held. It might be fun for you to nose around in different threads and see what sorts of discussions there are, and how they are carried out.
