Post #1Mono-Theism is the basis of Christianty -- yet Christians worship and pray to Jesus as well. Where do you stand as a Christian?

"No man can see God and live..." -- so if Jesus was "100% God and 100% Man" -- then how could anyone have seen him on this Earth -- and have survived the encounter?
I am a feverent believer in a living personal-working-God -- and I mean no disrespect here. I will always seek to worship in spirit and truth.

OK -- I get it. Scholars know that Jesus can't possibly be God. They must've decided long-ago that it might destroy Christianty -- and dishearten believers if the Truth was spoken.
They must've decided that only those who would dare to question Jesus would be able to handle the Truth anyway. So, its *wink* *wink* "nudge-nudge" when it comes to Jesus among those "in-the-know" yes?
So, finally, I'm satisfied that I can worship with Christians -- in the same way I celebrate Christmas with children who are waiting for Santa Clause to drop down the chimney. We know that Santa Clause is really the love of Parents -- and that Jesus is really the Love of God -- in a form that many humans can digest and benefit from.
I just find it hard to go-along with an adult fairy-tale -- but if I want to Worship God with other humans I have to play-along with the prevailing "ignore-ance". It's just so sad. I mean if *I* can see a more honest way to worship -- then why can't truly smart "normal" people do the same?
Does anybody know of an accessible religion in America that:
-Worships the ONE true and living God (Jesus as teacher only)
- Beleives God is working in each of our lives -- to grow "eyes of Faith" in us -- for daily needs and the next Life?
- Believes in active demonstrative worship in fellowship with others.
I mean -- must I tolerate obvious error (in love) -- so I can worship with others???
