Post #1Why Catholic Church say that The mystery of the Holy Trinity not impossibility to unravel. But I read one newspaper and found one internetsite where one man spoke that God is a Thought. Holy Spirit is Thinking. Christ is a Word or Action. Christ is a ultimate goal of contempliation of a thought. I think that is true.

Funny how your belief that God has the image of man is similar to Roman mythology (Zeus etc..). Hence "Roman Catholic Church"InTheFlesh wrote:You can disagree all you wantMurad wrote:Comparing man to god, ill have to disagree with you mate.
but God is a man.
Actually, he's SUPERMAN!
and Jesus is like Clark Kent...lol
If man was made in the image of God,
then the image of God is a man.
God made man in his own image!
And you making comparisons, god with superman

Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" without being put to the test?
We have tested those before them, for GOD must distinguish those who are truthful, and He must expose the liars.

it's the WORD OF GOD!
Aren't all things open and naked in his eyes?
Did the Word not go out of his mouth in righteousness?
Doesn't he have ears to hear?
What about his hands?
Did they not form the Earth?
Out of the heart of God proceedeth love.
God created man in his own image.
We embody the God man.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy,
we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

You state your opinion but ignore the questions.

Im not stating my opinion im stating facts.
You said its not only your belief that believes God has the image of a man but its a fact that only christianity out of the 3 abrahamic religions believe that. Unless you want to include Greek and Roman mythology into this, then that would be another story.
In christianity Jesus is worshipped as a God, so in christianity yes, God does have body parts. Infact God is not much different from man, God gets restrained then put to trial and gets crucified by its own creation(mankind). Then some theory is created "He died for your sins", uhmm no, everyone is accountable for their own sins and will be judged accordingly. God will not degrade himself into a human being.
You will now probably argue saying God died for your sins because he had unconditional love for mankind, this is completely illogical and i could start a new thread telling you why.

And thats where the "Perception" factor comes in place(in christianity atleast)
God did NOT impregnate Mary
The WORD of god impregnated Mary
Two very different things christians have mixed up.
When Jesus(Peace be upon him) called God his Father, some people took it literally and thought God actually had a child. This is ridiculous for obvious reasons.
Jesus was no different than moses, abraham, Ezekiel, John the Baptist etc...

The "Father" is the god Jesus prayed to.
And you say Jesus is God so are you telling me Jesus prayed to himself?

You're full of opinions
but this is the Doctrine Sub Forum.
Isa.9

John.1

1Tim.3
[16] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh,
