Taiwanese Salvation Church group- what happened to the boy??

Hello, I came across a very interesting story recently about a group of Taiwanese UFO followers who came to Vancouver, BC, Canada, looking for "Jesus of the West." (see story below)

Among the group was "Jesus's father," who is also the group's leader, and a 9-year old boy named "Jesus of the East."

Of coarse, "Jesus of the West" could not be found and the group later split apart once their leader falsely predicted the end of the world by nuclear war in 1999, as well as Gd appearing on TV!

I am doing some follow up research on the then 9-year old boy (who is now 17 years old) and whose name is Lo Ch Jen. Does anyone know what happened to him?? Is he still part of this group?

STORY SUMMARY:
1999: The Taiwanese, God's Salvation Church group revise their date-setting and now say that nuclear war will devastate the planet, and that the already identified Jesus of the East (a nine year old boy whose name is Lo Ch Jen) must meet up with the Jesus of the West. This latter "Jesus" must have been born in 1969 in Vancouver, Canada, and look like Abraham Lincoln.

The group -- usually known as "Chen Tao," or "True Way" in English -- believes that God will make his presence known this March 31 (a little more than a year after Heaven's Gate) when He inhabits the body of its leader, Hon-Ming Chen (whose last name is conveniently in the group's name).
