World's youngest political prisoner

Post by Tharpa »

I hope someone asks why I have posted this in a christian debating forum in the politics and religion section. This prisoner is a religious figure to buddhists. Christianity is a religion and some say buddhism is too. I suppose if someone said buddhism was the science of mind other religions would not be happy. They would say why is my religion not the science of mind. Funny how there can be several religions and only one "science of mind" even within any science there are contradictory theorys. The comparing of theorys that do not agree but are of the same topic pushes the science forward. Creating more scientific data. How is politics pushed forward? Please think about this topic and be a friend to yourselves

Peace

Om Mani Padme Hum

Amen

Hello

I respect you very much I hope you accept that.

I posted the topic here because I aready had an account here and I did not feel like searching for a buddhist forum. I also felt the conflict here is not just for buddhists, but for people of all religions who have leaders they beleive in.
I beleive the freedom of this individual would help people of all religions.

I should have put a smaller image too but it was easire for me to use a link to another site than to try and upload a resized image.

So thanks for the reply and attention

Nice to meet you Tharpa.

The Chinese govrernment are not noted for their respect of human rights or religious freedom. Which is a tad concerning for all of us given China are on the way to becoming the most powerful nation on the planet.

You also link to Shambhala. What is your interest or connection.

I read...
It is the Shambhala view that every human being has a fundamental nature of goodness, warmth and intelligence.
Moistly I agree but there are exceptions. It is not a general rule....well at least that is what it looks like if I look out my front door.

I think it is more true to say people are the result of environment, upbringing and genetics. The mix slightly different for each of us.

Shambhala

Hi

This post is about the connection between religions and the political peace it can acheive.

The link to Shambhala is my personal connection to the Panchen Lama.

It is the panchen lama's lineage who are liberating me.

Perhaps if I could live an enlightened attitude there would be no attachment to

being a shambhalian dharma bratt but I go there for teachings and programmes.

I offer the shambhala view to the christian community for peace and the higher

acheivement of everyone.

Be just being

Religion brings peace by segregating out unlike people, and so there is peace among the like. Until someone gets tired of a political leader; then they use religion as an excuse to do something horrible to them. Afterward, a faction develops, and there is usually a bloody split between them. Does this sound peaceful?
