One's political leaning can become one's religion, or one can bring one's religion into the realm of politics, but they are not words that are interchangeable.

The only difference between a political ideology and religion is one describes what to do for the living world, the other describes what do to for the afterlife.theAtheistofnoIllusions wrote:One's political leaning can become one's religion, or one can bring one's religion into the realm of politics, but they are not words that are interchangeable.
And politics is nothing but the struggle over resources. So there obviously is politics in religion. But that doesn't mean religion and politics are synonymous words.
