Saturday or Sunday?

The world has leaned toward Sunday as its day of worship. But what biblical proof is there for the change?

Of course, the Jewish names for the week are not 'Sunday , etc etc etc'.

Literally translated, the names man "first day, second day, third day, forth day, fifth day , sixth day, rest"

Technically. no.

Does the Christian religion use a lot of Pagan writings and sources, of course.

So does Judaism. It would be naive to think that there isn't any influences of surrounding cultures.

I personally have no problem with these pagan ties. They are part of my history as far as I'm concerned.

Going by this alone, it seems that any day could be the sabbath day.

If the work week starts on Monday, doesn't that make Sunday the seventh day from this perspective?

The word debir is identical to a nickname of the Holy of Holies in Solomon's temple.

The Jewish Holy of Holies, the Debir, (DBIR) is 216 or 6 Ã— 6 Ã— 6.

I'm pretty sure El was a Canaanite god and the father of Baal.
