Would you know a prophet if you heard his words?

What if at the time the Bible was written there existed a book called The Secrets to Devil's Power On Earth that was full of blasphemy but described exactly how the devil would try to turn you away from God? Would Jesus have said "Do not read this blasphemy, for it is full of evil ideas and implicates my blessed children in evil acts?"

Parable of the Clever Pirates

God came to a shipbuilder on the eve of an imminent flood and told the shipbuilder to create an arc in which he could save as many people as he convince that a flood was coming. God knew that the shipbuilder could work with wood and nails, construct a strong, beautiful vessle that could stay afloat in the deepest and swiftest currents.

But the devil wanted only those loyal to him to survive the flood, he told another shipbuilder to create a speedy sleek vessel, one that could overtake any arc, and in this vessel the shipbuilder would bring ladders to board the arc, drugs to subdue the crew, and drills to bore through the side of the hull and extract it's riches. The devil cared not whether the arc sank and the crew drowned, but mearly wished for his subjects to survive and his values to flourish.

Knowing this, God stole the devil's instructions to his shipbuilder and placed them in plain view on the arc so everyone could read them and protect themselves. But the shipbuilder and those he could convince of the coming flood did not believe that there was another shipbuilder building a pirate ship, for the devil also had agents on the arc claiming that the devil's instructions were full of blasphemy and must be a forgery, that they could not have been written by the devil because they were clearly in the handwriting of one of the passengers on the arc. The other passengers were easily convinced that the devil's instructions were merely a distraction from God's word, and that God would not implicate one of the arc's passengers as the writer if he meant for them to read the document.

When the flood came the arc sailed gloriously into the sea, and was quickly overtaken by the swifter vessel. The pirates boarded the arc, drugged the arc passengers in their sleep, began to drill into the hull and extract food and riches to supply them through the duration of the flood. The arc slowly began to sink and the passengers could not figure out why. They saw the holes in the arc, and their wealth and food disappearing, but they could not see the pirates because they were dressed just like the other passengers. They could not figure out why there were holes because the drugs the pirates gave them prevented them from thinking about pirates as an enemy, or even from associate the drilling of holes with the men holding the drill on the smaller vessel.

When the food on board ran out the pirates silently retreated to their vessel with all the wealth and watched the arc sink, and went on to use that wealth to establish their new city on the island the devil had promised to them, in exchange for sacrificing their morals and ignoring God's commandments.

The Parable of Choice and Free Men

God forsaw in his creation this great weakness, a susceptibility to the Devil’s drugs that would allow the Devil to turn man away from God‘s will, and with these drugs the Devil would be able to give his deciples control over mankind, their thoughts, values, and actions. So God made a decision. In order to give his children the opportunity to save themselves, he gave them the invaluable gift of choice. God could have created man without choice, for when man must believe that God exists and is all powerful, then he will always strive to do God’s will. But knowing how susceptible man was to corruption by the Devil’s drugs, he sacrificed this right of his to demand belief.

This ability of man to choose what to believe led to many being born with a curiosity, a need to understand why the world around them didn’t make sense, why the arc was sinking and the food and riches were disappearing. This curiosity eventually led to these Free Men finding the Devil’s instructions to his pirates, but these Free Men were few and far between, and they realized that even though God had given them the ability to free themselves, he had not given them the tools to free the minds of others. For one of the Devil’s many ingenious drugs not only made the arc’s passengers ignore the actions of those pirates drilling from the smaller ship, but it also convinced those passengers that the smaller ship was a life boat full of refugees that were attacked by the Devil and forced to flee for safety.

When the Free Men tried to warn the passengers that the Devil’s instructions were real, the arc passengers rose in anger and accused the Free Men of being Agents of the Devil trying to destroy the last remaining refugees. The Free Men learned that they could only save themselves, and stayed in hiding deep in the ship and slowly gave up hope that they could do more than try to help those who came to them wanting to be freed. The pirates could not take all the wealth and food from the arc because those Free Men were guarding enough to keep them alive on a lifeboat when the arc sunk.

Parable of the Antidote

God forsaw that his gift of choice would free those few of his children that truly shared His values and were born with the strength of mind to choose to escape the influence of the Devil’s drugs. But God loved all of his children, even those who the Devil had drugged, and was not satisfied with saving only those with a strong mind. God knew that there was no human trait that he could bestow on man to give him resistance to the Devil’s drugs, so he decided to use a tool he never used before to help save those of his children that shared His values but whose minds were too strongly drugged to save by reason and choice alone.

God used his power to bring into the world one man who would be born resistant to the Devil’s drugs, but would not be born with the gift of choice which all of his other children were given. For this reason he named this child the Son of God, for God gave this boy part of himself to take into the world of men. He told his son to tell the people the path to salvation, specifically the things they must understand and do to resist the Devil’s influence. But God knew that those Agents of the Devil would ignore this Word, and try to concince people that the Son of God was only a man, that his words were a nice idea, but not the word of God. So God did what he has never done before and would never do again. He told his son to spread his word, and when he came across those that believed him and had faith in and need of God, His son would only have to speak that it is so and God would perform a miracle to help that person. The words of the Son of God spread quickly and eventually God’s wish for every man to have His instructions for salvation was realized.

But the Devil saw this threat as an opportunity, for the will of God is for people to be free and equal, and with freedom and equality comes vulnerability. The Devil immediately began speaking in the ears of those deciples of the Son of God, and was able to begin to introduce differences in interpretation and inconsistancies. Eventually he was able to convince some that Word could be used to give them power and influence, leading to churchs and schisms that would divide those who believed the Son of God into many opposing factions. For with dissention and conflict comes weakness, and by the time of the flood the original message was mostly lost in tradition and ritual, the antidote to the drugs diluted. People stopped searching for the truth in the parables, and were found sleeping when the end of the age came.

Parable of the Law and the Sword

God forsaw how quickly his Son’s word would be manipulated and was furious, and in his fury he vented his anger to the other prophets of the time. He raged to Ezekiel and cursed his daughters that so easily turned from his will time and again (like mother like daughter), and promised that they would not survive the flood, that he would send his angels to wipe out those who wouldn’t follow his word. He promised to bring famine and plague and destroy their little island that the Devil promised them. He would surround their island with ships and men with swords, and when those on the island tried to flee destruction they would be chopped down and hunted.

To ensure this would happen God spoke to another of his prophets, told him of the threat of the pirates and the Devil’s drugs, such that his followers would clearly see the pirate ships in the water when the flood came and build their own vessels of war to hunt them down and destroy them. To prevent the Devil from changing his word and foiling his effort again he told his prophet to follow God’s law precisely, to never waver or weaken or allow in foreign ideas, and to stomp out those flaunting their disregard for the law.

When the flood came these men boarded their own vessels, for they knew God’s will, and they searched for the pirates. When they came across the arc they hesitated, for the arc was itself well armed, and the pirates were clearly in control. They knew that the pirates were enriching themselves off of the treasures in the arc, but decided to wait until the arc was sinking to begin to attack. But it became clear that the Devil had warned the pirates of the threat of the armed ships and the pirates were going to unload all of the arc’s weapons onto the island before the arc was destroyed. So they decided to that it was time to begin the attack, even when it was clear there was little hope of overcoming the two vessels and their weapons.

Parable of the Mirror

At this point God felt that he had done enough to help his children, and it would be up to them to save themselves. He was not dejected however, because what he forsaw gave him hope. There was one last chance that his will would prevail and that his children might be able to use the tools he gave them to overcome the pirates and take back the arc. Secretly God sent a message to his children through the word of his son and his prophets. He told them to wait for a man who would come at the end of the age and separate the pirates from the drugged passengers on the arc. He will speak the word of God and the people will listen because God gave him his Voice, and with this the ability to show people the values in their hearts so that they might look around with a stronger heart and a free mind.

This man would not be able to point to the pirates and say “there is a pirate, throw him overboard because in his heart was God’s love for all of his children. He would not be able to point to the ship and say “there is the pirate ship, sink it. Nor would he be able to tell his people “keep your food and wealth away from the pirates,“ for he loved all men equally and wanted even his enemies to survive the flood. All this man would have the power to do was give people back their values, show them God’s will and let them choose how to save themselves, for he was the Son of Man, and his kingdom would only be fit for those whose hearts and minds were also pure.

At this time the Son of Man would be at his most vulnerable, for in order for him to free their hearts, he must show them that his way is the only righteous one, and show them the holes in the boat so that they may change to save themselves. He surrounded himself with the most drugged passengers, and let them compare the Devil’s teachings with his and choose which matched their values inside. He showed them how to plug the holes and protect the hull from drills without ever once mentioning pirates. But he will be betrayed, for the Agents of the Devil cannot ignore this great threat to their control. For three days the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth, and when he returns the people on the arc will believe him like the people of Nineveh believed Jonah and welcomed his words.

It will not be until these events occur that you will know that a prophet has been among you. For the Son of Man’s sacrifice will mirror the sacrifice of the Son of God, his word will mirror that of his Lord, and with a mirror he will show you the divine inside of you and you will be fit to live in the Kingdom of God for ages to come.

I don't see a question for debate here.

I don't even see what you're trying to say.

Could you perhaps tell us the point of this series of astonishingly convoluted and obscure "parables" in plain language?

Parables Explained

The bible predicts a future return of Jesus and a judgement day.

Mark 13:26 - At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.

And warns people to be awake and ready when he returns.

Mark 13:32 - No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.

The people who follow Jesus's teachings will be saved, and those who dont will be punished.

Matthew 19:28 - I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

The purpose of the first parable was to describe how easily those who follow Jesus's teachings can be corrupted by the devil's influence. People are not seperated into Christians and sinners. People who are Christians vary from the very devout who follow the bible exactly, to those who pray and ask for forgiveness but go out and accumulate wealth or wage war in the name of God. These varying degrees of devoutness are not due to people reading the bible and choosing to interpret it differently, but rather to the power of greed and selfishness that makes people choose which aspects of their religion are convenient to follow and dont make them give up the luxuries that they have grown to treasure.

The move away from traditional/literal interpretations of the bible arose in the Renaissance period in France and England with the move toward protestantism. With this came the belief that the interpretation of the bible should change as society changes and progress occurs. For 1500 years people believed that usury was a sin, that the church should resist outside influence on how it taught the bible, and that those Jews who didnt follow Jesus's teachings would be punished (until post-holocaust sympathy and Nostra Aetate). Whether you agree with protestantism or not you can agree that the way the bible is taught and the official position of the Vatican has changed more and more rapidly in the last 300 years.

The point of these parables was to point out that these changes has made it possible for people to use christianity to benefit themselves and their interests. The boat is full of christians on the path to salvation, but the pirates are those who dont follow Jesus's teachings, those who wish to use the wealth, power and military might of a christian nation to ensure that they get the land promised to them (zion/isreal).

There is no denying that Isreal would not exist if it had not been for American support, and the land would belong to the previous inhabitants. Without bringing up the question of who the land should belong to, one can analyze why it belongs to Jews now, and why America unconditionally supports all of Isreal's actions without criticism.

The answer is in the parables, and the effect of post-holocaust sympathy has put and enormous amount of preasure on the Catholic Church to change the interpretation of the bible (Nostra Aetate and the Second Vatican Council). This preasure has arisen in all aspects of American life and in my parables it is represented by the drugs used by the pirates to alter the perception that Christians have of Isreal and Judaism (preventing the arc pasengers from seeing pirates as a problem).

The second parable is about those people who have observed the problem, but have no power to stop it. From Henry Ford's novel to Jimmy Carter, any criticism of Isreal has been SILENCED by the word anti-semetism. Yet throught the world and throughout history the concept of Zionism (believing you are set above other people by god and entitled to power/land) has led to people seeing this as a threat and an enemy to the Christian concept of equality. At this point the effect of post-holocaust sympathy is to connect Christians and Jews so intimately that Christians will defend Isreal's interests at any cost and put these interests above those of non-Judeo-Christian people. People who see zionism as a problem have no power to stop it (like the drugs given to make the arc-passengers think pirates are refugees that need protecting).

The third parable is about the teachings of Jesus and how Christianity has been changed by Jewish preasure to no longer think that the bible is anti-semetic. Let me emphasize that there has never been a document more critical of Isreal and those people who follow the Jewish religion than the bible. One could read Ezekiel with an interpretation that it is refering to future events, that the names Babylon, Assyria, and Egypt refer not to specific nations at that time, but future nations in similar situations.

The fourth parable is about prophets after Jesus, and the creation of Islam. The Koran is very clearly written to make sure those followers of God obey God's laws and punish those who do not obey them. Islamo-facism as Jewish interest groups would like to call it, is a response to sin. Anyone who follows God's commandments and does not pick and choose which parts to follow would agree that Isreal's creation, expansion, and current actions violate the words of God. Theft of land and killing of civilians in retribution for attacks clearly goes against the teachings of Jesus and the bible, yet christians in America are the most vocal supporters of Isreal. This weakness in Christianity that arose with Jewish influence in the church has resulted in injustice that the Islamic religion was created to prevent and stomp out (like the armed ships seeking out pirates to destroy because God told them to).

The last parable is about the future return of the Son of Man that was predicted in the bible. The famine and destruction of Isreal was prophesized, and the Son of Man's role is to save those people who will follow Jesus's teachings. Not those teachings that the Catholic church decides are politically correct and appropriate for our time, but rather the precise words of the prophets.

Mark 8:38 - If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels

You can read these parables as an arc passenger, and choose to follow the influence of the drugs on christianity, or you could try to shake them off and think for yourself. Truely follow the original meaning of the bible, not the modern meaning. Or you can say "Anti-semite!" and go down with the ship. There is no way this world can avoid war between Isreal and the Muslim world, it is inevitable. The question is whether we can repent and renew our faith before the Muslim world decides we are as bad sinners as Isreal.

Thanks for answering, but it is my personal policy to eschew debating those who promote antisemitism, historical distortions and propaganda about Israel, and outright lies about the beliefs of Jews.

Have a nice day.
