All you are doing is coming in here with warped teachings, that aren't biblical and making personal attacks on people. All you are doing is making Christians look bad and giving your God a bad name.
According to the Bible you are not fit for plowing, having turned back, so you are no judge of truth. You can't find one of my doctrines that the Bible doesn't support. You are a shame on atheists. I used to bemoan Satan grabbing up a lot of fine minds, but now I know I labored under a false assumption.

OnceConvinced wrote: This entire post has been nothing but a personal attack on Joey. You are a fine one to talk about forum rules when you break them by resorting to calling people names. Why should your bible be respected when you won't respect other members of this site?
Beg pardon. I didn't post to Joey until about page 4 or 5, responding to his declarations of doctrines nowhere found in any Bible. Until then his comments were not worth replying to, but the stink rose too high. There is no respecting of me or any Christian, or the Bible, by you folks calling God "evil". In the absence of any respect whatsoever from atheists here it appears there is no value in adding respect towards them. That virtue is one atheists probably never will comprehend adequately.

I've already seen you made God's fool list too. He says it, I believe it, therefore I say you are a fool on that basis. This isn't mere name calling. I am passing on God's perspective, which I accept as my own.
OnceConvinced wrote:No, what you are doing is deliberately being offensive to other members of this board. Is this the way the Holy Spirit works?
Since God took a stand employing the title "fool" towards atheists, I have to take that as a valid descriptor wherever it applies. Again, your inability to comprehend the word of God leaves you offended instead of wisely warned to change behavior. Hey, I haven't called any of you some of the names Jesus called the Pharisees, words considered very offensive in that culture. He couldn't call them fools because they claimed to believe there is a god. Your problem is the world took that word and diluted it, while I use it in its concentrated original form.
OnceConvinced wrote:Romans 1:22 Professing themselves wise they became fools.
Ah, what a total
wreck of context you made there! Here's a greater part of the passage: Romans 1:18-23 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; [19] Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. [20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: [21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. [22]
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, [23] And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things."
The passage was concerning ungodly, unrighteous men, which of course includes atheists. Boy, did you step back in your pile this time! You are indeed ignorant of the Bible! No wonder your first taste of Christianity went sour. You never had a clue about that.
Nowhere in that passage is anything said to contradict scriptures that declare me, a believer in Christ, as having the mind of Christ, all mysteries revealed, the wisdom of God. Need some references about what God says about His children? Those are pearls, so I can't cast them here. Go look em up. As for me, I remain included in this commandment in 2 Tim. 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." I have seen to that consistently for over 40 years running to date. It is GOD who declares over me wisdom, knowledge, power, a sound mind. 2 Cor. 10:13 "But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you."
OnceConvinced wrote:That's what the bible says about you WS. That's not a personal attack either. I'm simply quoting what God says about you.
I should be nice and not heap more disgrace on you. But I must. The scripture you quoted against me is for atheists. No personal attack intended, just the facts, man, just the facts. The ones professing to be wise are atheists in that passage, and I can assure you, in context with the whole chapter! Just pitiful! Good grief!
