Several Questions for Jehovah's Witnesses

1. Who wrestled with Jacob in Genesis 32:24-25? And when Jacob wrote, in K.J.B. Genesis 32:30, "I have seen God (Elohim) face to face and my life has been preserved."
N.W.T. Genesis 32:30, "I have seen God (Elohim) Face to face and yet my soul was delivered."

2. Who did the parents of Samson see and make their offering to? And when it was over, Manoah said to his wife,

God or Elohim is in uppercase in both verses and both Bibles: The N.W.T. reads, "We shall positively die, because it is God (Elohim) that we have seen."
The K.J.B. reads, "We shall surely die, because we have seen God (Elohim)."

If you were a person off the street, and knew little about the Bible and had no religious affiliations, and read the verses above, who would you say the parents of Samson and Jacob saw? Please be honest in your response.

Are you saying Jesus is just a prop?
Of course not. Jesus is Jehovah's means of saving the world. See John 3:16.
So, Jehovah's Son is just a parrot as well as a prop for the Father, a stand-in. Why didn't the Father come himself to save the world? Why bother sending his Son to suffer the pains of the cross? The Father could have come down, said with a loud voice to all mortals, "Follow me, or die in your sins." Then give the world 1 year to straighten out. After one year, zap all sinners and save those who obeyed him.
Because Jehovah is just what His Son knew and appreciated: too magnificent to be confined in any way to the speck of dust that is this earth. You think that the God who is responsible for creating the trillions of stars and planets in the universe could actually come down to this little planet? Your idea of God is startling.

"But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have built?" (I Kings 8:27, KJV)
Wait one minute, first you say Jehovah was the one who was with Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Jacob, Manoah, Haggar, Adam etc. Now you say the heavens cannot contain him. Is it door 1 or door 2?
You're not really paying attention. I said that Jesus came representing his Father, Jehovah. Because he was acting according to Jehovah's wishes and speaking FOR Jehovah, he could be called "Jehovah." It was like "Jehovah says this and Jehovah says that." Therefore it is said that Jesus could be tagged with the name "Jehovah," because he represented Him.

The eternal life that God gives is in Son. Jesus is the means by which Jehovah gives us life.
Good, can you honestly answer who has the eternal life in 1 John 5:20 based on 1 John 5:11?
This is just to confirm from you that the Father was telling the truth or you will make the Father a liar.
We have eternal life because of Jesus Christ. He is the means of God's salvation for mankind. Jehovah God is the one spoken of in both verses. "And this is the witness given, that God gave us everlasting life and this life is in his Son." (1 John 5:11) I don't think that is making the Father a liar.
How about 1 John 5:20, do the Father's words in 1 John 5:11 that Jesus had the eternal life expires after the next nine verses?
No, and I have given you my thoughts on those verses. Jesus is the Father's means of salvation. It is because of Jesus' sacrifice that we may have eternal life.
As you've said Jesus is the Father's means of salvation (eternal life) in 1 John 5:20, do that prove that the phrase "This is the true God and eternal life," refer to Jesus? As support of 1 John 5:11 or not?

1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

No, that verse refers to God, the Father, "Him who is true," and we are "in Him who is true, in His Son, Jesus Christ." He, the Father, is the true God.
