Will the next witness come forward:

If a formal assembly was held, and Jesus was put on trial before you, how would you judge him?

Let this trial begin. A lawyer walked over to where Jesus was sitting. He asked him, "What is your name sir?" "Jesus."
"Where were you born?" "In the town of Bethlehem, in the nation of Israel." "Were you born a Jew?" "Yes," He replied.

"You are being accused of lies and blasphemy against the state and the people; is this true?" "Yes."
"How do you plead?" "Not guilty."

"Will the first witness come forward!"
A woman came forward and took her seat. "What is your name?" "Martha,"
"Do you know this man?" "Yes, He was a dear friend of our family. When my brother Lazarus died, on the fourth day, He raised him back to life."
"Who do you say this man is?" "He is the promised Son of God."

My next witness is John the Baptist. "What is it you do?" "I preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins." Pointing to Jesus, he asked, "Do you know this man?" "Yes, I baptized him in the river Jordan." "Who do you say He is?" "He is the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."

Our next witness: “Sir, what is your name?” "My name is Thomas." "What relationship do you have with this man?" "I was one of His apostles." "So, you know this man well?" "Yes, I walked with him for three years, having once doubted him." "Who do you say this man is?" "He is my 'Lord and my God."

Next witness: "What is your name?" "My name is Paul." "Tell us a little about yourself." "I am a Roman citizen, born in Tarsus, a tent maker and an apostle to the Gentiles."
"Do you know this man?" "Yes, I helped in the persecution of his apostles, was responsible for stoning one of them to death, a man called Stephen. I also brought to trial and imprisoned many of his disciples."

"Who do you say this man is?" "He is the image of the invisible God, the head of every creature. By Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible."

Our next witness: A Roman soldier clad in armor stepped forward. "What is it you do?" "I am a centurion of the Roman legions." "How do you know this man?" "I was at the cross when He was crucified." "Who do you say this man is?"
"Truly, this was the Son of God."

Next witness: "My name is John." "Tell us about yourself." "I met Jesus when I was young. I became one of his apostles, and I walked with Him for three and one-half years. When I was imprisoned on the island of Patmos at the age of 90, He came to me in spirit."

"Who do you say this man is?" "He is Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the Almighty."

Our next witness: A large, burly type of man walked up and sat down. "What is your name?" "My name is Peter; I am a fisherman."
"Do you know this man?" "Yes, I was with Him in the garden of Gethsemane when a crowd came and took Him away." "Who do you say He is?" "He is the Christ, the Son of the living God."

The next witnesses were different from the others, for they were spirits. "Who are you, and what are your names?" One stepped forward and said, "We are unclean spirits: our name is Legion, for we are many." "Do you know this man?" "Yes." "Who do you say He is?" "He is the Son of the most High God."

Next, an angel of the Lord stepped forward. "Sir can you tell us who you are?" "Yes, I am the bearer of good tidings. my name is Gabriel."
"Sir, do you know this man?" "Yes." "Who do you say this man is?" "He is Jesus, the Son of the Highest. He will one day sit on the throne of his father David; and He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end."

"Will the next witness please step forward." "Sir, what is your name?" "My name is Pontius Pilate."
"What is your position?" "I am the fifth procurator of imperial Rome in Palestine."

"Do you know this man?" "Yes, after the Jewish authority condemned him, they brought Him to me. I questioned Him and could find no evil in Him. So, I washed my hands of the matter and turned Him over to the people to be crucified."
Who do you say He is?" "He is Jesus, King of the Jews." "Thank you, sir. You may step down.

Next witness: "Sir what is your name?" "My name is Judas Iscariot." "What do you do?" "I was appointed treasurer for the disciples."
"Do you know this man?" "Yes, He is Jesus of Nazareth." "What do you have to say about this man?" "I have sinned against him in that I betrayed innocent blood."

Will the thief who was crucified next to Jesus come forward. "Do you know this man?" "Yes, I was one of the two thieves that was crucified by Him on the cross."
"Who do you say He is?" The thief said, "I was condemned justly; for I received the due reward of my deeds, but this man hath done nothing wrong."

"Will the last witness come forward!” A great light shown in the room. His presence was felt by everyone present. Can you tell us who you are?" "I am the LORD God Almighty, the Father of this man."
"Who do you say this man is?" "This is my beloved Son, in Him I am well pleased. Hear ye him.”

All the witnesses have been called, now it’s up to you to judge: “Who do you say this man is?”
