Christ is our mediator, therefore our only hope

1 Timothy 2:5, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”

John 14:6, Jesus said, “No man comes unto the Father but by me.”

Titus 2:13, “Looking for our blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;”

Who is your mediator? Is it a man, an organization, a ceremony, or an image you pray to? Who or what is it you lean on? Do you pray to saints, or angels, light candles, kneel, and pray to an image made of clay or stone, do you pray to Mary, Joseph, or one of Jesus' disciples? What does the Bible have to say?

Job 9:33: Job said to his friend Bildad, “Neither is there any daysman (mediator) between us, that might lay his hand upon us both.”

Jesus Christ is our mediator; this is his official position between man and the Father in heaven. Jesus is the agent by whom the new covenant between the Father and man is made effective. The Lord God is our moral ruler, and we are his subjects, because we have violated his laws, man has moved away from him.

Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Romans 1:18-26, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.” Paul reminds us, “When we knew God, we glorified him not as God.” We became fools; we changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image of corruptible man;” so he gave us up to uncleanness through the lust of our hearts. Man has changed the truth of God into a lie, worshipping and serving the creature more than the Creator. Therefore, he gave us up into vile affections (to effeminate and homosexuality).

From birth until death, no man can keep the law, so we cannot be saved from the curse of sin by the law. The law is therefore our teacher, making us aware of our alienation from God. At times, the will of God was made known to the Jews through angels. At times, Jehovah appeared in human form, Genesis 12:7, “The LORD appeared unto Abram,” also as the angel of the LORD.

Then came the priestly class of mediators, the Levites, followed by the Pharisees and Sadducees. With the priests came elaborate ritualistic rules for worship, 613 of them, as well as rules for atonement. Holy days and seasons were established, special events, healing diseases, penalties for violations, confessions, and atonement.

Eventually, these rules began to separate the Jews from God, making the people wholly dependent on the priests for all contact. As the priests degenerated, so did the people. So, Jehovah sent the Jews into captivity because they sinned against him. But their captivity made them long for the Promised Messiah, and when he came, he broke down the middle wall of partition between man and the offended party, the Father.”

Ephesians 2:14, “For he (Jesus) is our peace, who has made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;”

... At times, Jehovah appeared in human form, Genesis 12:7, “The LORD appeared unto Abram,” also as the angel of the LORD.

Jehovah has NEVER appeared in human form, indeed the bible us quite catagoric, no one has seen God at any time. In Genesis Abraham interacted with an angel REPRESENTING Jehovah.

N.W.T. Genesis 12:7, "Jehovah no appeared to Abram and said----." That's your Bible not mine. If that's not appearing, what is? Appeared: to see with your eyes. Proving it was Jesus who you call Jehovah that Abram saw and then built an altar to.
