Question for everyone. The lake of fire referred to by the traditional Christian/ Catholic/ Fundi churches.

Is it literally a lake of fire? It is figurative? Other?

The vision showed what the governments are like, not that they were literally animals. The same goes for the beast of Revelation 13, and its cohort the false prophet (also described in Daniel, chapter 7: 8).
