The Origin and Destiny of man

Post by Revelations won »

True religion should clearly answer the question of the origin and destiny of man.

1. Where did we come from?

2 Why are we here?

3. What is the eternal destiny of man?

May we hear your clear knowledge of the above questions.

So during judgment is when Adam and billions of other people will have an opportunity to accept Jesus as their Savior!
May I know where to find the verse that says the above quoted explanation?

It requires more than one verse.
May we know them?

Sure.

All humans who ever lived will be made alive again, or resurrected:

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (I Corinthians 15:22)

All includes both believers and nonbelievers! However, all will not be resurrected at the same time. There will be an order to the resurrections:

But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. (I Corinthians 15:23)

So Jesus will be resurrected first, and that has already occurred. The resurrection which we presently await is the one at which those "that are Christ's" will be resurrected. Those "that are Christ's" refers to Christians. This resurrection for all Christians occurs at the Second Coming of Jesus to the earth, or "at his coming."

At that same moment at His coming, believers who are alive on the earth will be born again of the Spirit as spirits and meet them in the air.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (I Thessalonians 4:17)

Those whose names are in the Book of Life will have gained everlasting life.

After every human named in the Book of Life has been granted everlasting life, the Book of Life has been completely serviced.

Those granted everlasting life will then spend the 1000-year Millennium with Jesus. After the Millennium, all deceased nonbelievers will be resurrected as humans in the second resurrection.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. (Revelation 20:4-5)

<======================================>

Resurrected human nonbelievers along with those nonbelievers living on the earth at the time of the second resurrection will then face judgment:

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (Revelation 20:12)

Following their judgment, those whose names are written in the Book of Life gain everlasting life.

But remember that the Book of Life was totally serviced following the first resurrection! That is, all deceased and living Christians were granted everlasting life at that time.

Checking the Book of Life again after judgment of nonbelievers means that those being judged had an opportunity to accept Jesus as their Savior and have their names written into the Book of Life during their judgment!

Otherwise, there would be no reason to check the Book of Life again!

So, during judgment is when Adam and billions of other people will have an opportunity to accept Jesus as their Savior!

Since billions of humans were either born before Jesus, or after Jesus but never even heard His name, that seems just and true:

Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. (Revelation 15:3)
You may have forgotten one scripture. Mark 3:29
But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of eternal sin.”

Whoever has committed this sin, are eternally dead, and will not be resurrected. Job 11:20; Proverbs 11:7Job 11:20; Proverbs 11:7; Hebrews 6:6
Do you agree?

Absolutely not!

In that he saith, a new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. (Hebrews 8:13)

We are presently under the New Testament Covenant for attaining everlasting life, not the original covenant where we had to be free of sin.

Under the New Testament Covenant, he who believes in Jesus and commits the unpardonable sin will still have everlasting life, as sin no longer has dominion over us:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. (Romans 6:14)

I'll have to agree with God on this one.

I'll have to agree with God on this one.
Evidently, you are not speaking for God, and neither are you judge, so you cannot determine that Adam who was not under the old or new covenant, but whom the Bible says was not deceived, but rebelled against God, will see life again.
Nor, can you decide that those whom God judged as wicked, will see life.
The Bible is not supporting what you are claiming. Job 11:20; Proverbs 11:7Job 11:20; Proverbs 11:7; Hebrews 6:6

It's OK. You're not supposed to:

And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. Adam never had the opportunity to accept Jesus because (1) Jesus was not ordained to be mankind's Savior until after the Fall, and (2) after the Fall Adam had no interest in gaining eternal life. He deliberately turned on God and insisted on doing things his way instead of God's. He was not interested in a Savior.

With all the verses quoted I don't see one that mentions Adam had the opportunity to accept Jesus as their Savior, with due respect.

(Isaiah 29:11-12)

Adam will make his choice about accepting or rejecting Jesus as his Saviour after Adam's resurrection to human life at the second resurrection for mankind.
May I know what verse does says that?

May I know where to find the verse that says the above quoted explanation?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Will every human have an opportunity to choose to reject or accept Jesus as their Savior?

If not, then God is not just and true as the scriptures state:

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. (Revelation 15:3)

<======================================>

He deliberately turned on God and insisted on doing things his way instead of God's. He was not interested in a Savior.

Adam will make his choice about accepting or rejecting Jesus as his Saviour after Adam's resurrection to human life at the second resurrection for mankind.
What is there in the Scriptures that gives us the idea that Adam will be resurrected? He was put to death by God because he, Adam, turned on Him and wanted to find his way without God telling him what to do. There is nothing in the Bible that shows that Adam was sorry for doing what he did.

"All" includes Adam.

Being sorry is not a prerequisite for being resurrected.

All includes those sorry as well as those that are not sorry!
