Is the Lord's Sabbath in the OT still for God's people in the NT?

Luk 23:56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment

They were disciples of Christ but the "Christian" church ( which replaced the Jewish system of worship) was not established until Pentecost 33 CE about five weeks after Christs death and resurrection. The end of the period of God’s special favor to the Jews came 3 1/2 years later (half a biblical week) in 36 C.E. (Dan 9:27a)

May I know how you define Christian?
Also your definition of church?

• A Christian is a dedicated follower of Christ.

• The Christian church is the body of spirit anointed Christian and all those associated with them

So the "they"in Luke 23:56 were dedicated follower of Christ, and can be called Christians that observed the Sabbath in the NT.
And yes, "church" are the group of people that believe and follows Christ.

If we loved our neighbor we would be doing what the Ten Commandments told us to do.

Then that would include the Sabbath commandment which is to observe it on the 7th day of the week.

No, if one really undertands the principle of the Sabbath one will make spiritual things a priority everyday and work when appropriate without thé need to prohibit ork on any specific day.

I didn't see the "dedicated Christians" you've mentioned, that you differ to followers of Christ in Luke 23:56.
Mark 16:16 Faith is first mentioned which they in Luke 23:56 also believes and follow Jesus.
