Why can't everyone understand the Bible?
Post #1Those that read the Bible, rarely do they agree on what the Bible's message actually is. Why is that? Why didn't God make the Bible easy to understand for everyone? The Bible holds the key to the answer to this question right?

timothy, did you get my personal message? It's kind of important.

Please let 2Timothy316 know that I am very sorry that he took offense to one of my posts. It was never my intention to do that. Ask him to please unblock me so that I may personally apologize to him.
Be blessed,
Kate

Post #84You do you, friend. As I said, if read the Bible and came up with an interpretation that virtually everyone in the world said was false then my first thought would be that I was in error. If that's not you, fine. We just don't think alike in this area.JehovahsWitness wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2024 12:21 pmCorrect; we dont claim know better than everyone else, but we do believe God does know better than everyone else and is using us to let the world know this! Post #85Why would you think you were in error when the Bible says that FEW would be the ones that would find the right way? It's not about 'just not thinking alike' and basing what one thinks is right based on the majority or minority of what people believe does not always lead to truth. I'll never understand why people base their beliefs on how many people believe one thing or another.bjs1 wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 10:02 pmYou do you, friend. Is Matthew 7:13-14 correct or is it not?

Re: Why can't everyone understand the Bible?
Post #86I know of few bible characters/groups/bible stories or teachings were those that had God's backing were in the majority. Did Jesus indicate his true disciples would be in the majority or the minority? If I was walking in the same direction as the majority on spiritual matters... I would be worried.

Re: Why can't everyone understand the Bible?
Post #87Didn't Jesus say that FEW would find the narrow road leading off into life? (Matthew 7:13,14) So the majority are not always right, according to Jesus.bjs1 wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 10:02 pmYou do you, friend. So the majority are usually wrong, according to Jesus.
