Is God Coming Out?

What should we make of mythology? Should everything about the subject of "God" be considered legitimate/taken seriously?

Are ideas (such as making movies on thee subjects) to be considered "from God" (as in "inspired") and is it fair and good to have a laugh about things people used to be deadly serious about?

Unjustified Fact Claim(UFC) example - belief (of any sort) based on personal subjective experience. (Belief-based belief)
Justified Fact Claim(JFC) Example, The Earth is spherical in shape. (Knowledge-based belief)
Irrefutable Fact Claim (IFC) Example Humans in general experience some level of self-awareness. (Knowledge-based knowledge)

It hurts me to take off my cynicism but here's the best face I can put on this. It has to do with the best idea of what humour is. JW says humour is a gift from God. So Imma explore that.

If this movie has some spark of insight, then good, take that out of it, just as you would do for any mythology. If it doesn't then it won't even be funny and it will fall flat.

To me, it already has some insight about pure morality (God destroying everybody because they're bad) versus enlightened pragmatism based on selfish interest. Here, our ally is the devil because his interest presumably aligns with ours, in that we get to not be immediately destroyed. We should seek out confluences of mutual interests to maximise happiness, not design bad systems and point the shamey finger at anyone who doesn't hurt himself to do good, because bad systems require people to make that choice. Let's instead have good systems where people can do good and help themselves at the same time.

Is a good system a system of parity then?

Perhaps more to the point, even removing a "God" from the list of ideas humans came up with, in what way would the ceasing of human existence impact on The Earth?

Is it simply a case of having Gardeners that humans evolved on the planet? Something else?
