The very fact of JESUS' GOODNESS is proof enough that JESUS is GOD according to JESUS' definition of GOOD. You clearly wish to uphold the JW organization's stance/propaganda and place Charles Russell above CHRIST who is Lord of ALL. Faith in the JWs practices, views, and leadership never saves anyone ------ but thanks for ignoring the post above. JESUS HIMSELF proves HE is GOD. By the way, who are the 144,000 according to the Holy Scriptures? You never did answer that one, and I'm sure I know why.onewithhim wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 8:43 am [Replying to LittleNipper in post #639]
Nothing proves that Jesus is God.

That is correct. We do not believe in your trinitarian god that became a human, was seen by thousand of people and died. We Jehovah's Witnesses believe in the One True God (YHWH) , the God of the bible.bob the baptist wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 2:48 pm
I am not JW. But as I understand it, JWs do not have belief in the trinity, that Jesus is God in the flesh and God in the Spirit. They can correct me, but simply put, they do not believe in the same God you and I do.

That's what I was thinking, you're not claiming to be Christians. Thanks.JehovahsWitness wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 3:08 amThat is correct. 1 Peter 3:18
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,(NKJV)
John 10:17-18
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.(KJV)
Yes Jesus died; God [Almighty God] cannot die (see 1 Timothy 6:16 ). So Jesus cannot be Almighty God.

We believe Jesus in dual nature, His flesh dies (human nature), take back His life (Divine nature)JehovahsWitness wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 2:38 amCapbook wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 2:00 am

As Barnes understand Jesus as Father's equal, Jesus is also Almighty.
Hebrews 1:3
It is to show his claims to our reverence as sent from God-the last and greatest of the messengers which God bas sent to man. But, then it is a description of him "as he actually is" - the incarnate Son of God; the equal of the Father in human flesh.
(from Barnes' Notes)
