What was the date of this claim of the Kingdom of God restored in 1914?
What did God do to set up the Kingdom of Heaven?
Is there any record of what he said to accomplish this great event?
Did the JW's originally claim that Christ would come on the date they claimed?
Let us hear your clear answers to the above questions.
Kind regards,
RW

Your mistranslation says "Christ will be slain"
That's not what it says in Hebrew.

But 1914 was incorrect. 1861 was when he began to rule. All the things you mentioned happened in 1861. That was the year of the huge change.
1861 was a glorious year. It was a pivoting year for many souls. And 1861 was predicted years before. And it came to pass just like it was predicted.
How could you not know this?

I answered your #48. At least I hope I did.
Now...how do you know that the ones who were believed to be the one we are waiting for wasn't the one?
How do you know they weren't the "Messiah?"

Post #75It is a perfectly acceptable translation of the Hebrew; Prove me wrong if you can.Avoice wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 2:06 am [Replying to JehovahsWitness in post #21]

Post #76If that is your belief, you are welcome to it. It is NOT what we Jehovah's Witnesses believe. If anyone wants to know more about your 1861 beliefs I feel confident they will start a thread and ask you about it. As it is this thread is asking about the beliefs of JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES , we believe Christ began ruling in 1914.Avoice wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 2:48 am [Replying to onewithhim in post #16]

I don't believe it. I believe 1861 came and went just as the world expected.

Post #78Well, Yeshua, the Messiah, will indeed do what you say.....just not on your time-line. His apostles wondered if he would restore Israel at that time, but Jesus told them that there was work left to do, and he indicated that it would take quite a long time (Acts 1:6-8; Matthew 25:19).
There, however, would be no need for a third temple, because the Messiah would bring an end to the things of the Law such as animal sacrifices. Where does it say that there would be a third temple?
The exiles that are referred to in Daniel, Ezekiel, etc., returned over 2,000 years ago, after the Babylonian exile and the dispersing of many Jews throughout the Middle East. It is a done deal.
