JWs do not shun minor children

The thread that talks about JWs shunning children is misleading! Babies, toddlers, and pre-teen children are not shunned. Only a grown child who is now an adult and knows better than to disparage the organization to which they vowed allegience. Young children don't know any better, and usually a parent will keep them back until they mature a bit more. My son was 17 when he got baptized and that is perhaps a good age to draw the line, if you will, but everybody is different, and most will wait until they are older. Can we see that JWs are getting a raw deal when criticized for shunning children??
