Why isn’t God helping people
Where is God hiding? It seems that God does not care how many or how dies from coronavirus. It seems the religious gatherings spread the virus. Pray does nothing to stop the spread or cure anyone. It seems that God is picking on Christians to infect at the highest rate.
So, where is GOD???
Of course, God could be dead or dying. Look at all the other gods that have died. Gods are created by humans and humans can therefore kill gods.

Re: Why isn’t God helping people
Post #31This is a most skewed opinion of what God is responsible for. Wow. To say that He caused such horrendous treatment of His people is bordering on blasphemy. He NEVER caused any such catastrophies. If you followed the accounts about what happened to them, you would see that Jehovah always WARNED the people that their evil ways would bring disaster upon them, because He would ALLOW the pagan nations to overwhelm them. If His people would have been faithful to Him, He would have protected them from other nations. They stubbornly worshipped other gods and even deliberately gave Him the proverbial finger by raising phallic symbols in the Temple and surrounding high places. Jehovah said, warning them over and over again, if they continued to act in that manner, they would reap the wrath of the nations around them. They wouldn't stop their unfaithfulness, thus Jehovah let other nations take them over.Willum wrote: [Replying to post 25 by onewithhim]
You do realize, that, if you believe in the tribulations of the Jews in Babylon, by Rome and the Egyptians, then your God in all likelihood CAUSED the Holocaust as some kind of divine punishment in line with the Diaspora and Captivity and Exodus.
Though Christians deny it, Hitler’s private letters and public speeches confirm he, as a Catholic was acting according to God’s will.
I am not one to argue with the Torah, Jewish claims, a man’s personal opinion about his religion and “signs he claimed to see.
So if I were to agree with you...
The Holocaust was no "divine punishment." Jehovah felt, I am sure, as sad about what happened to the Jews and others (including, of course, His Witnesses) during that hellish time as anybody else. I have a book about that time called "When God Cried." How can anyone say that He caused such a murderous event? He always lets things get played out according to man's attitudes and their own actions, and, as mentioned, He always gives a warning.

You make these qualitative and unsubstantiated claims on the grounds of your human morality and outrage, and I don't know what to say.
That the Holocaust is not particularly worse than the other challenges God gave the Jews is telling. The difference is, it is modern, and rather than being executed by a nation worshiping Enki and Ishtar, they were horribly treated by a Christian nation, that believed it was acting with God's fiat.
If there is a God, who is to say they were wrong? Only God, and he gave no contrary indications.
Does God's fiat overwhelm warnings?
Weren't and haven't they been warned before, and weren't they committing many of the same sins, at least in modern analogy?
The bottom line is that the Bible (et and al), and history agrees with what I have pointed out, and only our morality, particularly your desire for God to be moral, disagrees.
Feel free to invoke the Bible to contradict this observation, however, we both know that is quite impossible.

Donray, sorry I misread your topic.
I somehow read, "Why isn’t God helping his(sic) people"
in place of what you wanted.
This is done so many times to me, I feel just terrible about it. I should have picked up clues from the narrative.
On the bright side, "Jews: are a fraction of "people," no?
Anyway, I feel like an idiot, apologies.

People have been know to abandon valuable things when they encounter difficulties.
That is quite a profound statement, people will abandon things that can't be shown to be true, nor have any discernible impact when they have difficulties?and he said that if push came to shove, humans would abandon their worship of Jehovah if He didn't protect them from all difficulties.

Yahweh does not think like us maybe we are asking for wrong things. Look at seven churches in Revelation he was not to happy with them so why should it be any different now likely worse. For example does not follow commandments so why should he help them?

Well, God (through His Son) is helping! Hence, when the dust finally settles on the coronavirus' numbers, the reality of the death rate to those infected will be less than 1%...That means at least 99% of those infected (with the virus), will not die! And, this includes the groups (most vulnerable) who have or had pre-existing health conditions, thus weakened immune systems. Which, account for a very large percentage of the deaths.
Therefore, for a virus that was caused by human error (or worst), God's Son has surely been observing the situation and getting involved…This is undeniable! So, when and if a vaccine is found, will the anti-God give credit to God or science? If, it's science, then why ask for help from God? Because, it seems that science got us into this mess in the first place…

Does seem the prayers of the world are being heard and acted upon. Also right is , if you don't believe in God, how could He be to blame?FWI wrote:Donray wrote:Why isn’t God helping people?

How about a recent case?? Anything in the last 2000 years?
Also, please provide where in the bible pray healed anyone. Bet you can't. Make sure that the passage that states that a person prayed to god to be cured and they were.
