The question for debate is does hell exist? If so, what does the Bible teach hell is?

No hell is not real. It is a man made hoax.

And you know that because you died and didn't find it?

I could agree that it is man made, but not a hoax.

It is one of the biggest hoaxes of all time. If you agree that it is man-made why do you say it is not a hoax?

What I meant with man-made, I think it is possible that people form it by themselves. It is eternal separation from God, and maybe it is just what the people make it to be. If all evil people are send to the same place and have freedom to do what ever they want without God, it would become torment. However, Bible tells soul and body are destroyed in hell, therefore I don't think anyone lives there eternally.

Total destruction is real. The literal place was'just used by Jesus as a symbol of total destruction. Something can be real but not literal.

That depends in what you mean by hell. And what you mean by exist.

Hell is not synonymous with the lake of fire nor is it geenna or tartaroo or the pit. Hell is more so in line (albeit poorly) with the Greek word hades which is synonymous with the Hebrew word sheol.

It (sheol/hades) is the grave or more precisely the “state of death.”

- the soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Eze 18:4 and Eza 18:20)

When the soul dies it is in the grave “the state of death” and will remain in that miraculous state until the day of judgment.

Death is a miracle. A state that God causes, it doesn’t just happen because you are alive. And you are held in that state until the appointed time in which you are to come forth and be judged and be resurrected.

Dis Jesus not say God is a God of the living, not of the dead? Is death not called "The last enemy"? How can death be refered to as a miracle from God. Je it not rather a course from our first parents? (Ses Romans 5:12)
