well if you remember , i have alerady told you about this,in your earlier topic.

the first such mass protest was carried out in feb this year, after which many small and big protests, have been carried out in all of the country.

the one you saw was the recent one, conducted last week.
a religion should not be obsereved from its followers ,but from its scriptures and established facts.
because followers can be misleading.

It makes me hopeful. I hope that there is a rejection of some of the more 'tribial' attitudes in Islam too when it comes to how women are treated.
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

That it's an incorrect answer to the question 'What is the truth?'.
''''What I am is good enough if I can only be it openly.''''

''''The man said "why you think you here?" I said "I got no idea".''''

''''Je viens comme un chat
Par la nuit si noire.
Tu attends, et je tombe
Dans tes ailes blanches,
Et je vole,
Et je coule
Comme une plume.''''

how women are treated in Islam?I precise in the Islam not how muslims are treating their women, of course not all but you see the bad side. Islam guarantee women's rights, I don't have an english version of coran, but if you read it you will see the important place of women in the society, wearing the veil for example to protect her, nowadays we see that women are being objects of marketing, in video clips lot off sexy women, why does the not muslims society are treating women like that? without talking about Islam, that's not acceptable.

Well, in several places that are predominately Islam, women are being killed in 'Honor Killings'. In Iran, there have been a number of cases where a woman who has been raped was executed for 'dishonoring the reputation' of her rapist.

In Jordan, honor killings happen quite frequently. One Jordanian tribal Chief
proclaimed
A woman is like an olive tree. When its branch catches wormwood, it has to be chopped off so that society stays clean and pure." So declared one tribal leader when pressed on the issues of "honor killings" in Jordan, where approximately every two weeks a woman is killed by her male relatives because of the shame she has brought upon her family by an alleged sexual transgression--"sins" which include being raped"
While it might not be part of the Koran, this treatment of women is common in much of the Arab Islamic world.

In Saudia Arabia, a woman can not get a drivers license, and it is only recently that they are allowed to get a hotel room without a male relative being there.

This statement is simply and demonstrably incorrect. Even with copious equivocation, the facts dispute you.

Islam enslaves women.

I don't think that is universal , but any place where there is a islamic government, that seems to be true.

Some places worse than others. Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan Jordan are high on the list. I think Egypt and Turkey are much freer for women.
