Many people may believe in Jesus .
But what do the scriptures actually state what is required to have a "testimony" of Jesus?

Re: The testimony of Jesus
Post #2The testimony of Jesus, per se, is not dependent on or under the jurisdiction and authority of the Bible, but only on the authority of the real and forever living Christ Jesus alone; therefore, the decision lies only in the Lord Jesus Christ for anyone to have His testimony.Revelations won wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2026 8:06 pm Many people may believe in Jesus .

Thank you for your opinion. Can you show the clear answer as to what the scriptures actually state regarding the answer to the following question?

Post #4I'm sorry, the bible is not the right authority to decide anything in this context. The real and forever living Lord Jesus alone is the only one who can decide who, when, and where He will endow [anyone] with the 'testimony of Jesus,' which you are looking for in the bible. No one can have a testimony from Jesus through the bible.Revelations won wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2026 11:42 pm Dear OneJack,

I agree with you. Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Revelation 19:10 makes it very clear that in order for one to gain a testimony of Jesus. One must receive the spirit of prophecy which is personal revelation.

In case anyone is wondering... The avatar quote states the following:
"I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness."

Bible-believing Christians do not exist in the flock of the Lord, which the real and forever living Christ Jesus headed and led always, across all generations. And yet, only Bible-believing Christians receive this alleged testimony of Jesus.I'm sorry, the bible is not the right authority to decide anything in this context. The real and forever living Lord Jesus alone is the only one who can decide who, when, and where He will endow [anyone] with the 'testimony of Jesus,' which you are looking for in the bible. What have you heard and learned from the real and forever living Christ Jesus for you to make the above conclusion about the testimonies of Jesus?Further, different people claim to have received this testimony, but from person to person, the testimony is not consistent. So despite their belief that Jesus is giving it, the evidence suggests this testimony is self-generated.

They might be saying that they have been granted a subjective, unshakable personal relationship with a god.
In other words, it could mean something like "I am holier than thou".
It could also be a poetic way to say that they are a Christian extremist.

@OneJack, Christians who have experienced God through the Bible's inspired teachings and history and you, whose false Jesus discounted the Bible as unauthoritative, really have no common ground to discuss Christian matters with each other, because we don't have the Bible in common. So, what is the point of talking past each other? You aren't going to convince us, and we won't convince you. It's a waste of our time, don't you think?
