Many people may believe in Jesus .
But what do the scriptures actually state what is required to have a "testimony" of Jesus?

Re: The testimony of Jesus
Post #31Of all the atheists I have observed in various forums, you are the one who believes in God, but you're unaware that you do. If you were an atheist in words and in deeds, you would say to BruceLeiter, 'your mind caused you to have pain.....' Why would you say 'Your God caused you to have pain' if you were a genuine atheist?Ray the atheist wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2026 1:55 pm [Replying to BruceLeiter in post #26]
Your God caused you to have pain, that's very much like a thorn in the flesh.Second, I agree with Paul's passage in which he describes his "thorn in the flesh" as a "messenger of Satan."
Satan can't defeat God, so if God want's to remove Satan from existence, it's as easy as saying one word to an all powerful god.
Of course, your God has planned for you to suffer for 40 years.
You are commanded to thank him for that, and I truly hope that you have learned your lesson.
I'd hate to have you suffer more.

I'm an agnostic atheist and I don't believe in the supernatural.
I don't believe in any god.
I surely don't believe in yours.
I am merely reflecting what I believe Christians believe.
He believes in a god, I do not.
That Christian believes that his all powerful God can't make him suffer, which goes against what the bible clearly demonstrates many times over.
In the stories, the god of the bible ( that I do not believe in ) does make and commands that people suffer torture and death.
I don't have to believe the bible is true in order to make internal criticisms.
I suggest that you Google "internal criticism" as it would help you understand what atheists do in these forums.
