Joseph Smith, an iconic figure and prophet for the Mormons. According to George M. Hinkle, a close friend of Joseph Smith:
"I have heard Joseph Smith Jr. say that he believed Mahomet was a good man...that Mahomet was a true Prophet!" (Correspondence and Orders, 1841, p.128)
If anyone would like to disprove Joseph Smith in the easiest possible manner, he should than quote the hadith of Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa salam):
La Nabiyya Ba'dee "There is no prophet after me." (Sunan Tirmidhi)
Since Joseph Smith accepted Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa salam) as a true prophet, than he cannot escape the fact that a true prophet never lies.
For Mormons: Joseph Smith believed in Muhammad (pbuh)
