He wrote a book

One of our members and a former Moderator, Cnorman, has been doing what I should be doing – focusing on writing for publication. He just completed and submitted for publication his book "The Fire in the Rock", written from the point of view of Tzipporah, the widow of Moses telling the story of the Exodus as it might have happened -- without the supernatural miracles and Hollywood magic

As some may guess or know, I am not a fan of religion and am not usually interested in fiction (even historical novels). But I am impressed with the work Charles has done – and with his writing style. The introduction makes me want to read more . . . which is more than a little unusual for me to say about a religion themed novel.

He (and I) would appreciate you taking a look at the excerpt and, if appropriate, give it a nomination (one click) – which contributes toward a publishing decision.

Once it is published perhaps it can become the subject of a book debate / discussion.

Just an update for my old friends on DC&R:

I have self-published my Exodus novel, The Fire in the Rock, on Amazon's CreateSpace platform.

The book has been awarded a Kirkus Star from Kirkus Reviews: only about 10% of the books reviewed by Kirkus receive that honor. The review may be found here.

If you'd care to order a copy, that can be done here.

Be well, all.

THE FIRE IN THE ROCK was named to Kirkus Reviews' list of "The Best Books of 2016" last December.

(And Joey -- you can order it on the Barnes & Noble site now.)
