Deeply spiritual or supernatural experiences

This thread is for those of us with "something wierd" to tell or a clear cut supernatural experience. Lets try and be a little serious about it. Think of this thread as a show and tell.
It is a first class human tragedy that people of the earth who claim to believe in the message of Jesus, whom they describe as the Prince of Peace, show little of that belief in actual practice.

I've mentioned this before a long time ago on this http://debatingchristianity.com/forum/v ... php?t=2336 thread:

When I was 16, I was sitting on the floor in my Grandma's living room, reading my Social Studies homework. It was the middle of the afternoon. All of a sudden, I heard my Grandpa snoring. He died two years before that. My first thought is that I was going insane, so I called my Grandma, and when she came in to the living room, all I said was, "Do you hear that?" She listened for a minute and said, "Hmph. Ghosts." 'Cept Grandma doesn't believe in ghosts!

That's why I"m an agnostic...

I was hoping someone would jump in. Ok I have had a few experiences. Here is one that happened when I was around 13 or 14.

I had just had an arguement with my parents. I was in my room and I was standing and glaring into a mirror at myself. All of a sudden, the room grew both dark and cold (this was my perception at least). All I could see were my eyes in the mirror except that they didn't seem to be my eyes any more. They were like mine but different somehow. They seemed to contain nothing but pure hate and anger. Then I felt something almost like a hand on my right shoulder.

Then next thing I remember was looking up from the floor and my dad asking what the loud bang was. I don't remember falling or any loud bang.

Well there is one story for you. Any comments?

Well, at first glance I would say that what you saw in the mirror was your own anger at your parents, and that scared you. I've been scared by the look in my eyes when I'm angry. But that doesn't really explain the hand on your shoulder, the loud bang, or the fact that you woke up on the floor. Maybe you slipped? The dark and cold sensation could just be the emotion of anger--it can change your perception.

All possible. Unlike some Theists, I feel that any physical or emotional response to supernatural interaction can be explained through physiology. However, the ability to explain what happened to the body does not account for an overlying cause. I have had other experiences. I will go through them little by little. I want others to interact too.

I remember when I was a kid, I was in bed. Then my Dad's mother walked in through my bedroom door and we had a chat, then she rose and vanished. The next day, I learnt she had died that night. Also what is strange, is that I've lived in New Zealand my whole life, but my dad's parents lived in The Netherlands, and had never been to New Zealand.

Thing is, I told my teacher who was Christian, and she even had the nerve to tell me it was the devil etc, while I obviously knew otherwise. (Only just remembered that part.......)

Thankfully, my parents are open about experiences like this, and it was quite a neat experience.
