Jesus promised that we will inherit the Inherit the Earth. Have you given any thought to what this will be like?
Do you think we will still have to mine coal? Operate steel mills? And factories? Build railroads? Maintain utility power companies? Maintain roads and infrastructure? And basically continue doing what we've always been doing to survive on planet Earth?
Do you think we will still have airports and jumbo jets? Grocery stores? Shopping malls, etc.?
How about a space program or NASA?
Will it still make sense to study science? Will we still need to conduct experiments at the LHC? Will SETI make any sense when we inherit the Earth?
How about hospitals? We there still be any need for hospitals? Surely there will no longer be any need for police lawyers or jails?
What do you think it would mean to inherit the Earth?

I'm curious to hear what other meek people think this will be like.
Of course, if your not a meek person this isn't going to concern you since you won't be included in this particular inheritance.
Meek people who aren't Christians are welcome to chime in since there is nothing in this particular inheritance about being a "Christian" apparently all that is required is meekness.
