The term ‘faith’ seems to have a fairly broad meaning in today’s language, but for the sake of this thread, I’m more considering the definition of faith to be –
Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence (from dictionary.com)
So is this faith healthy?
Faith, is it healthy?

Re: Faith, is it healthy?
Post #41An interesting question - I would say we (Jehovah's Witnesses) are not considered "mainstream Christians". I would go into more details but I don't want to derail the thread which is essentially about the nature and effects of faith rather than how Jehovah's Witnessnes should be catagorized. I notice however, that there is a sub-forum for asking questions of particular religious groups (or even individuals) and if I wanted to post questions specifically about a group I would probably chose to post there.Tired of the Nonsense wrote: Are Jehovah's Witnesses a mainstream religion [...] ?
In any case I'm sure someone, somewhere on the internet will see your question and be is interested enough in it to discuss the matter with you further,

Post #42You have addressed half of the question, which was "Are Jehovah's Witnesses a mainstream Christian religion? Your answer appears to be, "No, probably not."JehovahsWitness wrote:An interesting question - I would say we (Jehovah's Witnesses) are not considered "mainstream Christians". The second half of the question was, "Are the Jehovah's Witnesses a dangerous terrorist group, ready to attack and destroy the religious artifacts of other religions, much like the Taliban and Isis have done, to advance and defend their own beliefs?"
Do you defend the actions taken by Jehovah's Witnesses in Mexico in damaging the religious sites of Mexico's indigenous people, and destroying their religious artifacts, or do you denounce these actions? Or is it just that you simply prefer not to publicly discuss any of it?
Is physically attacking structures associated with the beliefs of others the sign of a healthy form of faith?
