My Love For Atheists/Agnostics

I certainly understand struggling with the intellectual incomprehensibility of a Divine Creator. As it is, I would rather speak to an informed atheist/agnostic than a passive theist.

I struggled too. Never stop searching; at that point--you will become intellectually, emotionally, and mentally dead. Never (and I as well) passively accept anything as truth.
"If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things."
Rene Descartes

"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

Galileo Galilei

"The unexamined life is not worth living for man."
Socrates

"Quotation, n: The act of repeating erroneously the words of another."
Ambrose Bierce
I am so excited to have found this forum.

cpoteet,
"Philosophy" is part of our Debate sub forum

As per the Rules
The forum is in two main categories - the Debate category and the Discussion category. All debates belong in the debate category. Topics without anything clear to be debate will be removed from the debate sub forums. All discussions belong in the discussion category. Any debates in the discussion sub forums will either be moved or deleted.
3. When you start a new topic in a debate sub forum, it must state a clearly defined question(s) for debate.

Please take a moment to define a question for Debate or we would be happy to move this thread to the appropriate sub forum.
