Anyone else experiencing site glitches?

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with small glitches when posting on the forums?

I have noticed that the post reverts either to the top or the bottom when I refer to another window for information...then I have to go searching for my place.

If I want to insert a smilie after I have continued to write, I can go back to the place where I want the smilie to go, but it ends up on the bottom of the post, not where I thought I had put it. Sometimes changing the color of the text (which I like to do when quoting scripture) or putting something in bold can be tricky as well.

I am finding it quite frustrating actually. When I selected this smilie, it put it at the end of the post, not where I had placed the cursor.

Can someone else try to add a site smilie in the middle of a post and see where it ends up? I don't have the same problem when I add "freesmilies".

Is it just me? Is anyone else experiencing glitches like this?

I've been experiencing the same things on Firefox, but not on Safari.

Me too, it was suggested I change browsers from FF so I got Chrome but it still happens, sigh.

Are you having this trouble on Firefox 18.0.1?

The only one of those glitches I've experienced is the smiley in the middle of the post one. It only seems to happen with Chrome, not with Firefox, at least in my case.

The post goes back to the start when I am in the middle or down the bottom and left the window to quote something. When I come back I have trouble finding my place. It is defaulting to the beginning and the smilies are defaulting to the end!!!

I'll try another browser. I am using FF.

I'm still unclear what you mean. Are you composing a post or simply reading a thread?

OK, I'm trying Opera to see if it's any better. (No Smilie still went to the bottom again.) Had to cut and paste it to where I wanted it to go.

When I am composing a post, as soon as I leave the window to look something up, when I came back it has gone back to the beginning of the post. Then I have to find where I was.

When I change the color it does the same thing, goes back to the beginning.

It looks as if other have just given up trying to quote in segments and they post some very strange looking responses.

I can at least leave the window on Opera and it keeps my place. That is something.

Guess I'll just use the free smilies for now.
