One question: What is the difference between "outbox" and "sentbox"? Sending a pm I would use the "outbox", right? Or should I use the "sentbox"?

But, then, what would be the reason for the "outbox"... :confused2: And, using the "outbox", what would be the reason for the "sentbox"?

Should I better have sent my former pm's by using the "sentbox" to be sure they have been sent more effectively? Will a pm I am sending by the "outbox" reach the addressee, or should the "sentbox" be utilized?

And why is it called "sentbox" (it's past tense of the verb send) instead of "sendbox"?

:-k ...I should take my medicine...

Outbox means a PM has been sent, but has not been read yet.

Sentbox means the PM has been read.

Using the "New Post" button in any of them does the same thing.

Sounds plausible. Thanks for the quick reply.

So I can see in the "sentbox" if my message has already been read or not. If there is no acknowledgment in the "sentbox", the addressee has not read the message resp. the message has not been read.

That's a pretty good concept... oooh, you Americans! You are always a step ahead! (But we would construct the better submarines if we only were allowed... :D )

By the way, Merry Christmas.
