I am currently studying with a very interesting Muslim Scholar who suggests that a more faithful understanding of the Quran is peacemaking and wholeness making.....

I've been debating the Abrahamic religions all my adult life. If there is any single characteristic of these religions it is that the scriptures associated with them are so diverse and vague that anyone can basically make a case for just about anything they so desire.

And when you debate people about these religions that's precisely what you'll see.

In fact, the history of these fractured religions clearly demonstrates this fact loud and clear. In all of these religions, whether they be Judaism, Catholicism, Protestantism, or one of the many sects of Islam what we always see is a myriad of diverse opinions and views, all pointing to basically to the same underlying scriptures as being the source of those views.

So it appears to me that we have concrete observational proof that over the millenniums these basic superstitious rumors have been twisted into just about anything you can possibly imagine, and more. Thus revealing that there cannot be any actual coherent underlying message in any of them.

Love God, Love People....

About as coherent as it can get. And universally accepted by all three major Abrahamic faiths.....however in one sense you are right through our own human lens everything will be subject to interpretation and fragmentation. Nothing will every be in complete unison with the wholly other creator and will therefore be subject to change. However to say there is not common threads in these traditions is insane.

Understanding of Messiah, Predestination, Freewill, the nature and essence of God in relation to his imminence, etc. etc. etc. Even major religious secular scholars like Jan Assman agree that with Monotheism came a profound sense of God as Justice. All these ideas often overlap and intersect with each other in the traditions....
